Barix Clinics Hospital

Getting things in order to have my surgery was a complete a total nightmare, it was the worst experience of my life. However, once there and the surgery was completed the nurses and support staff were fantastic. Their office personnel needs drastic improvement. POST OP CARE SUCKS!

I can not say enough about the staff and the surgeon.THey were kind and understanding ,they knew their job and did it well.

My early experiences during the evaluation stages were not GREAT but not terrible either. I was not happy with the fact that it was assumed that I wanted the procedure done open when I called and made and appointment for a consultation. I couldn't know that I needed to express my surgical preference at that point so I didn't but more importantly I wasn't asked and since there were dozens of other questions asked....why not that one? My surgeon's Medical Assistant leaves something to be desired. She could stand to be a bit more professional. When she called me into the room, she took my weight, led me to another room and went right to work.. Never bothered to say hello or give her name! Note these are my opinions with regard to the very beginning of the process. My actual stay at Barix was the very Best. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience from the time of my surgery. The nurses (especially Kathi) and Nurses Aides are TERRIFIC! They responded to my every need and made me feel perfectly comfortable even when doing some pretty 'uncomfortable' things if you get my meaning.. I give Barix Clinics of Langhorne an "A".

The only reason I put good instead of excellent for the restfully quiet question is because they wake you up a lot to get you walking and moving and losing weight!! They are phenomenal! I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. The staff from the nurses to the assistance to the director of the center were the nicest, most open and available people I have ever met. My nurses were angels and the respitory therapist was HILARIOUS!!
I have gone back to visit the nurses and they are truly heaven sent.
CHECK OUT BARIX! Dr. Braders waiting list is long but he is awesome. I have five tiny scars on my belly and the weight is flying off. This hospital will remain for so many years beacuse they are just unique with patient care. A+++++
