I would like to take this time to thank Dr. Stickler for everything he stands for and all he does for an epidemic that kills hundreds of thousands of people a year. My first impression of him was pure confidence in his skill and it hasn't changed at all. His office and staff are awesome, and exhibit the same compassion for the patients that Dr. Stickler does. One of many things that set Lifequest apart from all others is their committment to the follow-up care after your surgery. They are committed to seeing you succeed, and stress that more than anything else. Dr. Stickler is very honest about the risks involved. My first impression was that the seats were large and comfortable in the waiting area.The RN Matt was so friendy and took a joke very well that it made me immediately feel welcome and at ease.The overview of the staff that I have met has been positive so far.I have my psych appt in a few weeks and cannot wait.Do not feel negative towards Dr. Stickler because of his size(NOT OVERWEIGHT). Because he openly says in seminar that he nor his family members are not.He however is very sympathetic to our problems and he and his staff are very in touch with what we go through. I LOVED his seminar and felt it was very informative.Dr. Stickler made me feel very comfortable about the surgery and he informed me of the good and the bad.The Life Quest group strongly encourages following a complete lifestyle change.Not just a quickie fix. I appreciate that as well.Cannot wait for my insurance to pull through........I hope........

My first impression of Dr. Stickler was that he is very kind. He put me at ease immediately. His staff has always been very nice as well. Everyone there is just so friendly and upbeat at all times, you can't help but to feel comfortable there. I feel like they keep you completely informed about what to expect. They have a very structured aftercare program that encourages the lifestyle change that must be made. They also make sure that you understand all risks before proceeding. Overall, I am completely satisfied.

Dr. Stickler was a kind and unbiased man. He was very informative and provided me with the knowledge I needed to start and complete this journey. His staff is wonderful too. Annie, who usually answers the phone, is a wonderful person, always pleasant.

Dr. Stickler is very blunt about the future success of the surgery is not an easy process. The surgery alone can only allow for a certain amount of weight loss, however, he emphasizes that success lies within your diet, exercise, and dedication.
When you start this journey with Dr. Stickler, you might as well realize you have just been married to him and HE is in it for the long haul. He is there for you. AND he is not afraid to point out when you are slacking on your end of the bargain. It was tough to hear the things he said, however, I knew it was the truth.

He lays it all out for you from start to finish. You are informed of risks, complications, the dedication to be successful, and all possible issues he has encountered with his patients.

I would like to first thank the good Lord above for allowing me to find Dr. Stickler, and second, to thank Dr. Stickler himself.
He may be our surgeon, but he feels like family.

Dr. Stickler is one of the finest human beings on the face of this earth. He is a very caring man and cares about each one of his patients. He takes time to read emails from patients and answers them. His staff is up to date on anything and everything going. If there is something that comes up and they don't have an answer, they will find out for you. He takes time to talk to you and find out how your life has changed. He makes sure that you are educated on this procedure before he does it. I have recommended Dr. Stickler to a lot of people and would put my life in his hands again anytime. My first impression of Dr. Stickler was that he is very much a professional. He appeared to be very confident in his abilities as a surgeon and what gastric bypass surgery could accomplish for his patients. He was very sure about what he and his staff could do for me as a morbidly obese patient. He made me feel confident in what could be accomplished for me.
As I got to know him better, I felt that I had chosen the right surgeon for me.
He and his staff addressed the pros and cons of this surgery in a very positive manner and left the decision up to me. I did indeed have the surgery and was given, in my opinion, the best of care at this time. I still feel that he and his staff are attending to my needs as his patient.
Sometimes I have had trouble getting through on the telephone to his office but, I feel sure that something is being done to remedy this situation.
Dr. Stickler has the greatest bedside manner that a patient could ever expect and I feel that his competence could not ever be questioned. His thoughtfulness when I was in the hospital will always be appreciated by me.

My first impression of Dr. Stickler was that I could not believe that he had such a warm heart for obese people. He is so lean and trim, but there is nothing small about his heart and willingness to listen and to help his patients! He has impressed me with his knowledge and his structured program from the first time I entered his office. His stresses that this is a life long commitment and that he is not our doctor, he becomes family from surgery on! This is so true. I have become so close to him and his family that I also changed my daughters pediatrician to his wife. Honesty in todays society is rare. Sad but true, but you get complete honesty and commitment from Dr. Stickler from the minute you meet him. You can tell that he is in this because he loves helping us instead of financial reasons. It feels good knowing that someone cares so much about you. He offers classes about different topics during the month to help us through our new life, and is always available for questions. One thing I will never forget is running in the race for a cure May of this year, and being able to have the person responsible for my success there to see my sweat and tears, but most of all my smile of victory!
