Barix Clinics Hospital

It was very clean,and the nursing care was excellent. There was a very good nurse/patient ratio.

The nursing staff was wonderful. Everything wiith the Barix experience ran like clockwork--except one.

The only disappointment that I had is the waiting time between the insurance approval and the scheduling of my surgery--4 months. I understand that they have a big waiting list and are very busy. However, there is virtually no communication during the waiting period. I picked up the phone a few times to follow up and check on my status with the scheduler. The only news that I received is how overworked and difficult her job was and that I was essentially annoying her with my calls. Perhaps someone from Barix ought to look into the matter. Maybe they need to add another staff person to handle the workload. And, it would be worth it to call those waiting for surgery once a month to let them know where they are in the scheduleing process.

My only complaint with Barix is with some members of the office staff - it could take days for some people to return my call. But do not let that sway you from chosing Barix because Dr. Brader and his staff are absolutely amazing

Everyone was so nice. From the front desk to all the nurses. They made you feel so comfortable and were always there for whatever it was you needed. This was the best experience I have ever had in a hospital.

You talk about hospitality. This place is it. Every single nurse was totally helpful, friendly and, most of all, understanding. Find me a better place to have surgery. I challenge you.

This was my first and only experience at having surgery and staying overnight at a hospital. I cannot say enought about the experience I had - it was great !!!!!!!!!!

Everyone from the beginning of my stay until I went home and beyond was very caring and knowledgeable. They knew exactly what needed to be done and could anticipate my needs without my even asking. I would recommend Barix to anyone considering bariatric surgery. The doctors, nurses, and administration are there to help and do so in an extraordinary way.

My experience with the Barix Clinic was great. The nurses were terrific, compassionate, and very helpful.

If you live anywhere near a Barix Clinics, that is the only place you should have your surgery! This is all they do, and they are the best!
