Rodolfo Arreola Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

I had my gastric sleeve done April 9th, 2014. It went smoothly, I was up and walking off the gas pain a couple hours later. I did so well i was released 2 days later. I immediately jumped back into walking and going places, as I wasn't in a lot of pain. I was at 327lbs upon release from Hamot, I've lost 43lbs in the 7 weeks since my release. I am back to work, 6 sizes smaller, and I feel great! Dr. Arreola did a great job, and his office is there if I need anything. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Arreola was and continues to be a beacon of hope for me. He is an amazing surgeon, polite, personable, honest and efficient. He assured me that he would not finish up my surgery until he was completely satisfied with the work that he did. The procedure, pre-op and post-op experiences were covered and reviewed in great detail Aftercare is an important part of the process and the entire facility has done everything they can to accomodate and help us. Any concerns I may have had pre-op immediately dissolved each and every time that I met with Dr. Arreola. My husband is also a patient of his and shares the same positive opinion. We both put our lives, literally, in the hands of Dr. Arreola and couldn't have felt more confident and reassured. His office staff is fantastic. Very respectful and helpful. The only negative experience I have had is the occasional long wait to meet with the surgeon at my scheduled appointment time.

Dr. Arreola is a wonderful surgeon! He may seem rushed while he's with you, but I think this is just his personality. He's very high energy, but he will take time to talk with you and answer any questions you have. He was also very friendly with my husband when he came to my consent signing with me and answered his questions without seeming bothered at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Arreola and his partner Dr. Ali, also. I've met Dr. Ali several times and he seems like a very nice man!

He seemed to be very knowlegable. Staff was super nice at first, but after I submitted all my insurance info i called SEVERAL times to see if they received it and I got no where. The insurance coordinator left and they were all backed up with paperwork. Finally after tons of telephone calls and messages I got my answer. (About a month and a half later)

My first impression was .. WOW this man really knows what he is talking about.AND I CERTAINLY STILL FEEL THE SAME. Icant say i cared much for his office staff but yet he is in with another doctor that has been there for a long time.I cant find a thing that i don't like about him.I thought he explained everything to the fullest i went in without any suprises.He certainly has been alot of help in my aftercare.I would recommend him to anyone considering this surgery. i feel he had much surgical confidence and a wonderful bedside manner.. now i am 5 years post op and have moved to the south i still am missing Dr.Arreola he was one of the most wonderful men i have ever encountered and if it wasnt for his care i woulnt be sitting here as i am toda at 145 pounds.. He hellped to save my life and i will be forver greatful

Dr. Arreola is a very kind, very knowledgeable dr. I felt very confident in his skills and knew I could trust his expertise. He made you feel confident in him and that he truly cared about you and your situation. My impression of him over the last 6 months has only gotten better. I think he is just an awesome doctor. His office staff is nice also, although everyone in this office is VERY overworked. It is a very busy place.rnrnI would give Dr. Arreola a 10 out of 10. I have no complaints at all about the care I have rcvd from him.rnrnBoth his surgical compentence and bedside manner were both excellent. I would highly recommend him to anyone as a bariatric surgeon!!!

My first impression of Dr Arreola was that he seemed very sincere and caring. I've only met with him once.rnrnI think the staff is very helpful and friendly! rnrnI've gone to a few pre-op meetings and Dr. Arreola was so informative along with everyone there.

Dr. Arreola is awesome!!! He is such a caring and compassionate surgeon and person. His staff was wonderful to deal with and stayed on top of things. I still see him at support group meetings and he always takes time for anyone that has a question. I feel he goes above and beyond the call to do the best for his patients.
