Robert Watson Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr. Watson is a doctor who understands your needs. He listens, answers all questions and doesn't give you the sense that he is in a hurry and will take all of the time you need. He doesn't sugar coat the cons to the surgery and explains very well the possible complications, but also the benifits of having the surgery. He is not the type of doctor who will approve everyone who comes to him for this surgery, which is a good thing, it shows he is not out for how much money he can make. I would give him an excellent rating. Both his surgical competence and beside manner are great. Which are hard to find. The office staff is very friendly,curtious and will assist in any way possible. I would highly recommend Dr. Watson. The comments I have made,of course, are in my opinion only.

Dr. Watson was wonderful the first time I met him. He went through the whole process with me and took the time to explain and answer any questions I may have had. He went through all of my medical history with me and took all of the risks into consideration with me and talked about possilbe solutions to possible problems that may arise. He has a wonderful support group that meets in Reno, the only bad part about that is that I live in Alturas, CA. But I am planning on making it to at least one a month if I can.

His staff int he officeis wonderful, I had one problem with the bypass coridnator, but I still am unsure if she was the one that was delaying the process or if it was the insurance company.

I have been very impressed with Dr. Watson, so much so that he is going to operate on my daughter in two weeks!! The office staff is great and very helpful.

I met with Dr.Watson on Feb 4th. I am very happy with my choice and I feel that i will be in very good hands.The staff at the office was wonderful. He has a Gastric Bypass cordinator named Joy and she is just the sweetest lady. I honestly can say that at this point there is not anything that I dont like about Dr.Watson or his staff. Dr.Watson tells you upfront what the risks are and heavily emphasized what needs to be followed post op. I would have to rate him a 10 at this point and I dont think that will be changing.

First impression: I liked him. Very friendly, comfortable to talk with. Very informative. Took time not in hurry.

Office Staff: After they got my file right...having mixed me up with another person by my name, only 21 years older than me...they were fine.

Time will tell.....But I have confidence that Dr. Watson will be great!
