Robert Watson Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

I met Dr. Watson on 4/4/05. I thought he was great. I think I drilled him with questions more than he did me. He didn't have a problem with that at all. He spent a long time with me. I never felt like he was trying to rush me. Everytime I spoke with Rhonda in the Authorization Department she was very nice. The only problem I had was the fact that they had my paper work for 7 weeks before it finally reached Medicaid. Once Medicaid recieved it I was approved within 2 hours. Dr. Watson has a 3 year structured aftercare program. It is very important to him that it be followed. He went over all the risks and complicatioins that could occur. Overall I rate him a 10 out of 10.

I have only seen Dr. Watson once, but so far I am impressed. I really like the aftercare program I think that will be very helpful after surgery. So far his office staff have been great, working well with me to get through the authorization process. Dr. Watson was very open to talk to and discussed all of the risks associated with this surgery, he made my husband and I feel very comfortable.

I met with Dr. Watson today. I was amazed at how relaxed he made my daughter and I feel. He was straight to the point discussing the dangers of this surgery. He made sure that my daughter was included asking her if she had any questions for him as well. He was polite, personable and very professional. My daughter left there saying "he is very nice mom, I like him." I was to be at his ofice 30 minutes early and was late by 15 minutes, the girls wern't very happy with me, which I understand. Once we got past that hurdle all went smoothly. Even though he was running late he did not pressure us or hurry through any of his explainations. I have nothing negative to say regarding Dr. Watson nor the staff.

The morning of my surgery he came in and reassured me that all was going to go well. He asked me if I had any questions and asked me if I was sure I was ready. He told Pete that he would take good care of me and he gave me that Dr. Watson smile..I felt in great hands. The day after the surgery he came in and saw me and wanted to make sure I was being treated well and if I had any questions for him. He is great and I adore Melissa. I would recomend this office to anyone wanting this surgery. Their before and after programs are wonderful, this office honestly cares about their patients.

The office staff at Western Surgical Group has been extremely helpful and patient - can't say too many good things about these people (Nina, Sherry and Rhonda), they are wonderful.

I loved Dr. Watson from the first time i meet him. He spoke kind and gental. I feel as if I have not changed my views of him except that I trust in him even more. Everyone at the office has been great so far. I have great feelings about them. there is absolutly nothing that i don't like about my doctor. He his a great doctor all around. aftercare is so very important. There program is very structured and so important to follow.
Dr. Watson was just up front and honest about all of the risks of the surgery.
from 1-100 on the ratings I would give him 100. Both were great. Dr Watson is patient caring and understanding.

My first appointment is on 11-1-04. I have seen Dr. Watson when I went to a seminar.

I have met with him just on the first visit last fall. So far, so good!

The staff is wonderful ~~ non-judgemental.

Dr. Watson is a "hunk". He is also a darn fine surgeon. Explained everything to me and seemed to be happy that I had researched some myself. Office staff was helpful. He has a structured after care program and takes interest in his patients. Rating over all is just great.

One thing though - I put down a 20% deposit and after all charges I have some coming back to me - getting a hassle getting it back - this does not make me very happy - it is the hurry up and wait thing.

My first impression of Dr Watson was wonderful. He was very kind, caring and has a warm personality. His office staff was always very helpful and nice to me. I would recommend him very highlty to anyone that is looking into this surgery. He was very honest about the risks, pros and cons and did not sugar coat anything for my benefit.

My first impression of Dr. Watson was "What a Hunk"...not only is he nice on the eyes he is a terrific surgeon! His staff is also very friendly and helpful. He has a structured after care program and it is not too bad. I would really recomend him for anyone - tell him your thoughts and he will tell you how it is. I enjoyed meeting him and was scared of after the surgery complications - no such problem! Super person and outstanding surgeon!
