I came to consult with Dr. Ferzli because I heard he is excellent. I'm glad that I chose the program because I feel they are all supportive and educate patients on aftercare. I also found the support groups to be very helpful.

Before going to see Dr. Ferzli, I heard many, many wonderful things about him. When I met him, he was everything I heard and more. He is a good doctor, one that truly cares about his patients and is warm. Everyone in the office has been very helpful and always called me back when they said they would. I always felt comfortable calling or going there. I was provided with education and the opportunity to meet many people who had surgery. Both nutritionists are lovely and helpful and answered all my questions. Dr. Saperstein, the psychologist led the Brooklyn support groups with that I attended along with Emily, one of the nutritionists. It was a comfortable environment, one in which I was never embarrassed or uncomfortable to ask questions. I am so pleased to have chosen this program for all these reasons.

Other members of them team, my nutritionist, coordinator,support group leaders, are very helpful. Support groups provide insight of what to expect after surgery. As a pre-op patient attending them, it made me realize that I'm not the only person who thinks about life before and after surgery.
