George Ferzli Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

Dr. Ferzli is very knowledgeable. There is nothing I disliked about him. The process of getting prepared for surgery does take time; there are at least six months of consecutive weigh ins needed. The program emphasizes aftercare that lasts a lifetime. I found the coordinator, nutritionists and office staff very helpful. The groups are also very informative.

Dr. Ferzli is excellent. He is nice, honest and has a great staff. The support groups have been very helpful. I feel I have the best surgeon. He explains everything about the surgery.

Dr. Ferzli is very smart. He has an excellent reputation at the hospital. I know people he's operated on and they all had good results. I'm not thrilled that he's not doing the surgery at the local Staten Island hospital where I know more people, but Lutheran is still close. Ive felt that Ive been educated all throughout the program. The team he has working for him are very helpful and honest.

My surgeon and the program does a lot of follow up with me. I feel very comfortable with the office staff as well as the doctor.

I liked Dr. Ferzli very much. I would have liked to speak with him longer at my first visit with him but I had the opportunity to do so when I signed consent. There is a lot of aftercare and I found the support groups to be helpful.
