George Ferzli Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

Dr. Ferzli was very friendly, informative and positive. I found him to be very approachable. The entire process was lengthy but very much worth it. I have been educated on aftercare. The support groups were extremely helpful. The leaders, Emily and Dr. Saperstein were great. It was nice to meet and listen to other patients who have gone through surgery or who are like myself, preparing for it.

This is a life saving program. Dr. Ferzli and his staff are very helpful with everything. All my questions have been answered.

I had the VSG done last year in Jan. with Dr Ferzli. My first impression he was very to the point, but not rude. He is a quite man with a nice demeanor. The surgery went very well no complications. When doing the pre-op Dr appointments for the gastro Dr and the cardio Dr, etc., each one of them I chose through my own insurance.. each one of them mentioned how exceptional Dr Ferzli was! Which made me feel great knowing other Dr's felt I was in good hands (and not Dr's that he had referred me to!) The office staff is OK. The receptionist is rude and has her own personal conversations while you wait for 10-15 minutes to be acknowledged. After the surgery there were 3 different times that I came in and she couldn't figure out if I had an appointment. I has to dig through my bag to find an appointment card. Other than that, the nutritionist is very good! She remembers me and she makes herself very available for me. The surgery went very well and all together I lost over 100lbs and I am very happy with the success!

My first of impression of Dr. Ferzli was a good one. I thought he was very nice. He seemed to understand what I was feeling about the process and what my needs were. I've met with him once so far and I know I will be meeting with him again before my surgery. The support groups have helped a lot. I've really liked them so far.

I WENT TO DR FERZLI BACK IN 2006 AND HE WENT THOUGH ALL MY OPTIONS AND HE DID A GREAT JOB I LOST OVER 400 POUNDS HIS STAFF AND HIM FOLLOWED ME THOUGH ALL THE STEPS AND MADE ME FEEL GREAT I OWE MY LIFE TO HIM I RECOMEND HIM AND HIS STAFF TO ANYONE WHO HAS TRIED EVERYTHING TO LOSE WEIGHT THANK YOU DR FERZLI

i'M NOW POST OP. I LIKE DOCTOR FERZLI AND ALL HIS STAFF. THEY ARE HELPFUL AND CARING AND GAVE ME ALL THE INFORMATION I NEED. THE SUPPORT GROUPS ARE VERY HELPFUL BECAUSE YOU CAN EXPERIENCE OTHER PEOPLES' EXPERIENCES. THEY GIVE A LOT OF INFORMATION. I CAN ALWAYS CALL THE OFFICE AND THE STAFF IS WILLING TO HELP.

Doctor Ferzli has always been very nice. His care is excellent and he's kind. The coordinator, nutritionists, psychologist and office staff have all been very nice and supportive.

Dr. Ferzli seems very thorough. Though my visit with him was very quick, it was informative and thorough. I do feel that Ive made a good decision to come to him. The main reason why I feel comfortable with thtis program is because of the aftercare. I don't feel that he's going to do surgery and just forget about me. The office staff and nutritionists are wonderful, very informative and helpful.

I found the program to be very informative and helpful. All of the staff are kind and helpful and willing to help. The support group meetings are great. They help with any questions or concerns that I had throughout the process.

I found Doctor Ferzli to be knowledgeable and had a lot of experience in his field. That's what I liked the most about him. This will work if a patient is fully committed to the program. It's up to the patient to do the work. Everyone who works for him is terrific. Everyone that is considering weight loss surgery should attend the support groups.
