Dr. Ferzli was quick to a point and answered all my questions; I found him to be very educating. I liked that he answered all of my questions. I would tell other patients that weight loss will work if you are really good and put work into it. There's a lot of aftercare and everyone at the office was helpful. The entire process was very educational.

My surgeon was gentle, kind in spirit, loved his bedside manner. He was honest, thorough and gentle. Patients should know that if they are ready to put the work into this, the results are worth the effort. My own doctor, Dr. Aayad, the nutritionists, the psychologist and staff were very helpful. At the support groups, I met and heard about different cases, different choices that people made but they were all encouraging stories and they gave me the extra push I needed as well as encouragement to do so.

I have been very happy with the surgery so far. I've had no problems. The staff educated me before surgery so I knew what to expect and I continue to receive care after. I found the support groups informative. I'm happy I chose Dr. Ferzli and his program.

My surgeon was great. I was very well informed preop and post op. Patients should know that preparing for and after surgery are not a walk in the park. But this program emphasizes aftercare. Everything and everyone involved in the program was of great help and assistance, especially the nutritionists, psychologist, staff and support groups. It's a perfect combination.

So far, Ive met with Laura, the nutritionist and Karen, the coordinator. I have attended one support group which was run by them. I found them to be very interesting and helpful.

Dr. Ferzli is caring and straight to the point. I liked his matter of fact conversation. I don't know that he will recognize me again when he sees me. I love the team, they make me feel like an individual Aftercare is as important as the surgery itself.

Dr. Ferzli is amazing! He always makes me feel like I've known him my entire life. He treats his patients like they are members of his family. On the day of my surgery I saw Dr. Ferzli three times before I even went into the O.R.,he came in and stood over me,making sure I was comfortable and at ease. After surgery Dr. Ferzli went directly to my family to assure them all went well. I was in the hospital for three nights, and saw Dr. Ferzli every day. Whenever he checked on me ,I felt like it was my father at my bedside. His bedside manner is beyond spectacular! He is very calming and his voice is soothing. He speaks softly. It does not make you feel like a child, but he makes ypou feel comforted. He is extremely attentive to his patients. My surgery was a success and I feel "GREAT". I couldn't thank Dr. Ferzli enough.Speaking on thanking, there is Dr. Ferzli's staff. One more wonderful than the other. First, there is Ms.Karen Sander R.N., I liked her from the moment we met. She knows exactly what she is doing. She is thorough, efficient, funny and warm. As I was going through the steps to get to the surgery,Karen was always there for me. To answer questions,to listen to me complain or if there was a problem with one of the doctor's. She is definitley the go to person! She is FANTASTIC!!Second is Ms. Emily Bostrom, Nutritionist. The first thing you notice about Emily is how sweet she is. She is a great nutritionist. She knows her stuff. She explains to you step by step exactly what must be done to ensure success after surgery. Emily is also very caring and yes,she is sweet. She is extremely professional, but she truly wants you to succeed,so her warmth pours out of her. I could never see myself speaking with another nutritionist none can compare to her! The third are two members of Dr. Ferzli's staff
Lauren and Patty. The both of them are hard working (always crazy busy) women. They are smart,on the ball, and seem to run that office. The rest of Dr. Ferzli's office staff is lovely as well, but I pretty much delt with Lauren and Patty cannot imagine that office running so smoothly,if it weren't for them.

Dr. Ferzli was very approachable abd friendly. He has a very professional office staff that are available for all your questions. The offer support groups that are helpful. They also offer nutritional support before and after surgery. All of the bariatric team work together with you to achieve your goals throughout the process. I'm very happy with my choice of this bariatric team.

My surgeon is Dr. Ferzli. I was fortunate to see him for my initial consultation and he was wonderful! He was extremely welcoming and comforting. I do not have a complaint whatsoever. As a matter of fact, every physician I went to for clearance raved about my choice in surgeons. The support group meetings and attention to underlying health issues have greatly emphasized aftercare. The nutritionist and the psychologist have made the process so smooth because I really understand the potential "beyong physical" symptoms and challenges that may arise post operatively.
