Brian Gluck Bariatric Surgeon D.O., F.A.C.O.S., F.A.S.M.B.S.

I had my initial consultation with Dr. Gluck on this Thursday, 8/10/07, and was impressed with not only the doctor himself but with the entire staff, who were helpful and friendly. Since I was the last appointment of the day, I would have liked to have more time to ask questions, but since the monthly seminar was scheduled to begin about 1/2 hour after my appointment ended, I knew that the doctor was pressed for time. Dr. Gluck is very adamant about the importance of aftercare, and this is reiterated throughout the appointments and the seminar. Because of this structured aftercare program, Dr. Gluck's complications rate is well below the national average. Since I am self pay, the office and Dr. Gluck have been working with me to facilitate testing in my area to lessen my out of pocket costs. Because of the distance I am traveling, they have also been very helpful in scheduling appointments on same dates and are working to try to minimize my winter travel.

I honestly have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Gluck. He has a great bedside manner and is very approachable. It is quite common for him to actually call you back if you have issues or questions. He has a wonderful program in place and the aftercare/support is extensive. He really sets you up to succeed and to my way of thinking, if you fail it is all on you. His experience as a gastric bypass surgery is also pretty impressive. He does an average of 8 bypasses a week on his own! I have also talked to people at our monthy support groups that have come from different states just to have him as their doctor. The bottom line is he is one great down-to-earth doctor.

Dr. Gluck is simply the best. If you are considering having surgery anywhere near Michigan I would be worth the effort to seek out Dr. Gluck.

My first impression of doctor Gluck was I thought he was kinda young and could not really know what he was talking about. After sitting through the consultation and hearing from others who had been through the surgery I knew it could work for me also.rn Dr. Glucks office staff was awesome. If I had a question or a concern they addressed it in a timely manner and all was good. rn Dr. Gluck keeps up with his patients and there after care. He has the programs to get you back on track when you fall off.rn In all I love Dr. Gluck and his staff. He and his staff have taught me a new way to live and with their added support I have lost about 220 pounds in a year and 9 months time. I love you guys for pushing me and jumping my butt for falling off track. Dr. Gluck and his staff have saved my life.rn

I really like Dr. Gluck, he tells you straight up how things will work and what will be happening to you. He is honest and very caring! I would recomend him to anyone!!

Dr. Gluck knows his stuff. He is honest about the surgery and the pros and cons. His office staff are great and very focused on bariatric patients.rnHis after care program is very strict and they will hunt you down if appts are missed.rnHe is a very competent surgeon.

The first time I saw Dr. Gluck I was awed by his dark brown eyes,he has the most intense look. He looks at you and talks to YOU. He is in no hurry to get you out and on your way. He asks questions and gives you answers to all or your questions. Dr. Gluck is a \"nataral\" at his job. His office and his staff are the most wonderful caring people you could ever meet. There is nothing I do not like about Dr.Gluck. I have to say that Dr. Gluck is just as passionate about after care as well as before and during. His office has a great team for all aspects of this life changing surgery. Dr. Gluck tells you everything just like it is. He explains the good, the bad, and the ugly, as well as the best. I would recommend Dr.Gluck to everyone and anyone who is looking for an awesome surgeon to provide the best care possible. you know there are Doctor's out there that are great surgeons or that have great bedside manner or some that dont posses either quality, but I have to be honest when it comes to Dr. Brian Gluck there is no question hands down he has everything it takes to carry you through this surgery and beyond. He talks to you everyday you are in the hospital. He called me at home. wow was I impressed. He is a great Doctor and I feel blessed to be able to be one of his patients. I can only say that this is my opinion and I dont expect everyone to feel the same way.

My first impression was he gave me all the time I needed for my appointment. I didn't feel like he was rushing me out so he could go to the next \"case\". He answered all of my questions and I had a list. LOL. The thing I liket he most is he looks me in the eye when he talks to me. He looks AT me not THROUGH me. He tests for everything possible to make sure nothing will go wrong. He is amazing at what he does and his practice all truly care that you do well. When I returned home he called me from his home on Sunday to see how I was doing and he gives you his home number just in case you need him. He stresses aftercare and how important it is to being healthy and sucessful. He has an amazing aftercare program. He has regular check ups, fitness programs, support groups. All you could need and ask for. I would give him an a+ he is awesome. I couldn't have had a better surgeon. He is truly great at what he does.rn
