Brian Gluck Bariatric Surgeon D.O., F.A.C.O.S., F.A.S.M.B.S.

My first impression of Dr. Gluck is that he is a genuine person who has a passion to help others. He has an awesome staff. They are always willing to go above and beyond to help with any questions, or any needs you may have. One of the things that really appealed to me was the aftercare program that Dr. Gluck has. I am confident in Dr. Gluck and his entire staff.

I was very nervous to meet Dr. Gluck because I knew he might be the one that held the key to my future in his hands. After meeting him I was very pleased that this man would be my surgeon. He is a very gifted man that has spent a lot of time and effort into developing a complete program to help people to take their future health back into their hands. He is very serious when it comes to making sure you know what you HAVE to do in order to be successful. He has a great sense of humor also. His entire staff is enjoyable and easy to get along with. I have felt comfortable with everyone in his office. They explain everything in great detail and have great advice for all your questions. The thing I found most comforting was that they have an entire program set up. This isn't a surgeon that collects his money, does the surgery, and sends you out the door. Dr. Gluck makes sure that you know up front that you will be expected to do extensive follow up care. He explains all the goods, bads, and the uglys of this surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Gluck was \"O.K. another doctor\". But over time I found Dr. Gluck to be a very caring person. The office staff is very nice to me everytime I come in no matter what size I am. There isn't anything I don't like about Dr. Gluck but I will say that the old office the was in I didn't like because he didn't have any seating for people of my size. For all the future patients, Dr. Gluck and his staff are always willing to help you in anyway they can so don't be afraid to ask for help. Dr. Gluck is very good about pushing the need for aftercare. His aftercare program is very awsome and complete. I was told all about the good and the bad that could come with Gastric Bypass Surgery. On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the best, Dr. Gluck and his staff are 10's across the board.

Dr. Gluck was amazing! He treats everyone with such respect. My first impression was \"Are you serious?\" I was wondering how such a small man was going to be able to handle a large woman like me. His staff is wonderful and treats each of my million quetions as if it was the first and I loved that. Future patients should know that he take losing weight to heart and gaining weight is not even an option. The aftercare is a whole package deal. He does not just give you the surgery, but also work with you for your life after the surgery. He was up front with the risks of the surgery, but the risks of not having the surgery out weighted the risks of having it. I rate Dr. Gluck a 10. Thank you!

Dr. Gluck is great.rnrnHe is to the point about surgery. very professional and caring.rnrnHe makes sure you are ok after surgery. He will even call you at your home to ask if you are doing ok. He makes appointment's to talk with you to see if you are doing your part. You need to walk or get some kind of exercize in. Drink enough fluids and get protein in. You get your blood checked to make sure your getting enough vitamins in and no other problems.rnrnHis after care program is great . You meet with a dietician for phase 1- 2 and 3. These meetings inform you on what you can eat and add to your diet . The hospital has a heart care center where we get to go for a year to build up our strength and work out. we sign in and a trainer will help us with our needs.rnrnI like that he did not go on and on about how you could die from this surgery. He said there can be complications and possible death. But that if you stay in touch with him and follow his care program that you can lead a healthy happy life.rnrnI rate Dr. Gluck to be at the top of his field. He wants the best for his patients and he really cares about giving you a better life. THANK YOU! MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR GLUCK IS LIKE WOW !!! HE REALLY CARES! WHAT A NICE NICE GUY AND HE EXPLAINS THINGS WHERE I CAN UNDERSTAND THEM.

I had my initial consult with Dr. Gluck on Thursday, and I was very impressed with him and his staff in every way. He made the benefits and risks of surgery very clear. He also explained what would be expected of me throughout this entire process. He has a terrific bedside manner, and I feel completely confident about his abilities as a surgeon. Everyone that I came in contact with on his staff was friendly and professional, and I felt completely at ease the entire time. I am very impressed with Dr. Gluck's entire program and the extensive support in place for his patients. I think they have thought of everything, and all of the tools are there and the support is in place for me to succeed, so I just need to use those tools to help myself!

Each time I have met with him, he has answered all my questions and those of my boyfriend. I have had several friends go through him and say he is excellent in the surgical department. Looking forward to my pre-op meeting in 4 weeks from today!!!!rnrnTristan who is the insurance guru is the most wonderful person ever!! She and I have walked through this process together and she was willing to direct me every step of the way. I first saw Dr Gluck during a very informative seminar. I was impressed with the empathy he has for obese people; so much that he chose to use his medical talents to put this amazing program together at Mercy Hospital and specialize in bypass surgery.rnrnI then met Dr Gluck during my initial office visit, after I decided to pursue surgery for myself. He was very patient to answer my questions and was straight forward telling me what to expect.rnrnI'm now in a 6mo weight loss care with my family physican, which is a requirement of my insurance company. Dr. Gluck's staff has been contacting me & scheduling preliminary tests in preparation for surgury, sometime after my last 6mo visit in March. Their help is making this process so unconfusing for me!! rnrnI was ALWAYS very critical of weight loss surgery because of a personal fear. However, Dr. Gluck & his staff have helped me change my opinion with FACTS and a true understanding of an obese person.

I am driving 2.5 hrs to have Dr. Gluck perform my surgery. Need I say more? He is wonderful and has a fabulous staff, all very supportive and curteous.
