My first impression with Dr. Gluck was that he has compassion for his patients because he was an overweight child. He sincerely seems to have a heart that wants to help people be free from this disease. He seems like a very competent doctor. Also, he has put together a multi-disciplinary team and an after-care program that is simply amazing! So far, I haven't seen anything to make question whether or not he is the right surgeon for me.

My first impression of Dr. Gluck was a man of hope. He gave me hope at a new life and as time progressed it only got better. Dr. Gluck as a child was faced with his own weight problem, so he new first hand the struggles of weight challenged people. I think that was what impressed me the most with him. He has an emotional investment in what he does and not just some doctor in it for the money. he truely cares about each and every person he works with, but at the same time makes it very clear that he can only give us the tools, it's up to us to make them work for us.rnrnHis staff is awesome too. All very caring individuals that Dr. Gluck has hand picks to be a part of his team. Some are even patients of his that have come to work for him. I can't seem to come up with anything I don't like about Dr. Gluck or his staff. Would I do it again? You bet I would. Not everyone gets a chance like this for a new life and I feel extremly blessed that I've had this opportunity. Had I continued on the path I was on, with the my health the way it was, I am certain I would not be here today. I truly am indebted to Dr. Gluck and his staff.rnrnAftercare is extremly important to Dr. Gluck as is exercise and keeping to our new way of eatting. Dr. Gluck and his staff have put together long term after care programs to help keep us on track and always incourage us to call at anytime if we have questions. rnrnDr. Gluck prior to surgery went through all the risks very clearly so I understood everything. Being that I was high risk for any type of surgery anyway. But he also shared with me the advantages I would have and the new life I would have too.rnrnI would rate Dr. Gluck on a scale 1 to 10, as a 15+. He has definitly earned that from me.rnrnWhich is better, surgical competence, bedside manner, or both? I'd have to say for me both are extremly important, for you just can not have one without the other.rnrnDr. Gluck is and will always be my angel, he's given me something I never in a million years thought I would have. A new life, a new me. rnrnI think the only negative thing I have to say about Dr. Gluck, is I wish he would have removed my gall bladder when he did my bypass, because I was hoping the next surgery I would have to under go would be my plastic surgery, but we can't have everything our way.

Dr. Gluck is the best....and believe me, I did my research before I went to him. He's top of the line, Cadillac of all bariatric surgeons, with a list of credentials a mile long. And is one heck of a nice guy with a great sense of humor.

Nice guy. His seminar is extremely informative (but a bit long). His surgical competence is out of this world. (I know many of his patients including my own father in law) However, he can seem a bit detached and a little cold at first. rnrnHe has a wonderful office staff! Extremely friendly and supportive. Even though my file was misplaced, all in all they've been great! rnrn

This man is the most down to earth doctor I have ever met. He always shakes my hand and looks me right in the eye. I trust him fully. He was wonderful in the hospital and the office. His staff is very friendly and informed. Their program is very organized and easy to follow. I feel well taken care of. All of my questions before and after have been answered. I don't regret choosing this office or this procedure at all. I am thankful for this opportunity they gave me.

What a guy! rnHe is an amazing surgeon. rnI am very impressed with him at the moment for working with my local hospital's new fitness center to give some access to his patients at a reduced cost. How cool is that? rnHe is a little reserved and somewhat business like when you meet him. But I believe it is because he takes his job very seriously and wants his patients to know how important compliance with the program really is. rn

I am scheduled for Roux-en-Y surgery the first of July. I am very excited to be one of Dr. Gluck's patients. The staff at Dr. Gluck's office is extremely knowledgeable with all the latest information. Everyone there is very willing to help. The genuine care that the office provides is very unique. I have dealt with \"Specialists\" before, and not ONE compares to the caring that Dr. Gluck has. Dr. Gluck along with the members of his staff are all very thorough. They want me to understand everything that is going to happen. What to be prepared for after surgery and how important it is to follow up with aftercare. rnMy overall rating of Dr. Gluck is an A.rnMy overall rating of the staff/associates at Dr. Gluck's office is an A.rn

I found Dr Gluck, very sweet and carring.rnHe is still that way even after 1 1/2 years post op.rnThe staff is very friendly and helpful.rnThere is nothing that I didn't like about Dr Gluck.rnI want everybody to know that they will be in good hands with him.rnThe aftercare is great, really went through all the steps with me and had time to answer any questions I had.rnHe told me about all the risks of surgery.rnOn a scale of 1-10 he is an 10++++++.rnI think that both surgical competence, and besdide manner is great and Dr Gluck has both!rnThe only downside that I had is that I didn't get to see him for all my visits, and that is understandable with all the patients that he has. But if I felt that I needed to see him, I could have.

he was very series, but over time he wormed up to me. i thought that the office staff went above and beond making me feel comfertible. he is to series. should try and loosen up. that he is a great surgeon will go out of his way even if its 2 am, to talk to you. he emphasize aftercare very very strongly. Dr gluck has a very good after care program. they go over all risks involved in surgery. i would rate Dr gluck a 11 on a scale of 1-10 10 being the best. so yes he is that good. both are great but he could work on his bedside manner. rnrnrnthank you for all you do Dr gluckrnrnALAN T
