Mischelle, Just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your surgery. May it be uneventful and your recovery quick and as painfree as possible. Just think, it really is going to be a whole "new" year. A happy, healthier, thinner one at that!

Mischelle, GOOD LUCK! You are going to do great. I have felt my fear leaving me quickly after our support group, so many people have done so well, we will also. I will check in on how your are doing on Tuesday and if I am still in the hospital maybe I will see you awake! See you on the other side! Jennifer

Mischelle -- Re: Pain from the surgery. I just had the surgery Friday so I remember! I have a high tolerance for pain as well, but I believe everyone is different. I can tell you that for me, the pain never really got above a 4 or a 5. In fact, I stopped the pain medicine while in the hospital because I was naseous and vomiting and that was the absolute worst pain I had. It is pain, however, and you have to go in expecting some. When I was naseauted, I wondered why in the world I had done this to myself. I had two C-sections and I'm getting around much better than I was from them becaue I had a larger incision. Be sure you get up and around as soon as you can! Good luck.
