Diane, hey roomie! I must tell you it was such a JOY having you as a roomate! I needed those words of encouragement that you gave me. I also truly appreciated everytime you buzzed the nurse for me(he..he..he) You have such a wonderful family and those grandkids, all three of them are just too adorable!!! Take care and I'll see ya on Nov. 7th for our two week checkup.

I just came from the hospital and Diane looks great! She started getting her ice chips, got up and walked about 20 feet, and had great color in her skin. She is a true fighter. All is going well in her recovery. Everyone was saying how well she is doing and what good spirits she is in (that is when she's awake! hee hee) She is using her demerol pump when she needs it. Let's all keep her in our prayers for a speedy recovery.

She did it! She is on the other side! I just talked with BTC nursing and Diane is doing great! She is in recovery probably dreaming of her new bikini look, running down the beach with Doug, and playing hide-n-seek with the kids! I am going to see her tonight. I will write later on how she's doing with her walking. Mickey Mobley

Diane, I hope your surgery goes well and I wish you good luck and good health with your recovery. The first 2 weeks are the toughest after an open but it will get a little better each day. And it is sooo worth it! A WLS friend,
