Grady, I just read your profile, and enjoyed the way your site is set up, glad you are a Christian and proud of it! I will be praying over your surgery and recovery as will many others on this site. My husband is also a trucker, so I know the complications of meals on the run. If you are over the road, have you planned how to attack those problems yet? It will take much planning and organization, but I'm sure you can do it! God Bless!

Grady, I just read your profile. Congratulations on getting your date! I know it seems a long way off but the day will be here before you know it and you will be on your way. Congrats on quitting smoking too. That will go a long way to helping you in recovery and being able to exercise more. I'll be thinking of you in September. Best wishes for your continued success.

OK, Here is what is going on. I went to see Dr. Mathews for my one week post-op check-up. When I got there I checked with Jennifer, she is the Patient Coordinator, to see if she had got all my paperwork sent in to the insurance company. She said she had and they were to have met yesterday, 04/07/03. She called and talked to the insurance's rep and was told that I had received my approval! Boy was I on Cloud 29! When I was called back to the room for my check-up and Dr. Mathews and I started talking he said that they had some problems with the operating table because of my size, Remember that I am 520 lbs and 5'11

In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room, know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Happy soon to be ReBirthday.
