Hi, Grady! I just want to wish you the best of luck on your upcoming surgery; from what I hear, having your gallbladder out is more painful than this surgery. Keep a positive attitude; it will take you farther than anything else. Also remember to walk ASAP, as soon as they will let you, especially after you eat and drink, as it helps relieve the gas pains. It also helps you feel like you're in control, and last but CERTAINLY not least, will aid in preventing blood clots and pneumonia. I will keep you in my prayers and look forward to seeing your updates. I have relatives in Jasper (I'm in Indianapolis) and I would really love to have a get-together for WLS patients down there one of these days! Maybe we'll get to meet soon! Good luck, and God Bless! Know that He'll be by your side the whole time. Take care! Proximal Lap RNY 08/19/03, -20 lbs.
