Grady, Just wanted to let you know how very very proud of you I am. Wow 75 lbs. You stinker you! At this rate I will never catch up with you! You will be my size before I ever lose my first 50! You have worked so hard and have done so well and I am so proud. I know how much you wanted this and how much this means to you. God bless you my best friend and I know that there are many more pounds gone to celebrate. I am so happy for you and for glenda. That gal is going to be married to a new man before long and I know things are going to be wonderful! Keep up all the good work and remember I am here for you. Love you my friend and keep walking, smiling and remember to thank God daily. Without Him we wouldnt be here!

Hi Grady, I'm new here and still "pre-op," but, I just had to say, "Congrats." What a beautiful, what is it called, "web page?" Wow. Anyway, congrats on getting your surgery done and behind you. Hello Everyone! It is great to be back at my computer and making my own updates, LOL! My Wonderful Angel did a great job while I was away and I wish her well as she is now recouperating from her WLS Surgery. I am doing great, and I am recouperating fast. I had a rough time with the bleeding but they did a wounderful job of getting it under control and getting be back on the road to recovering. I go back to Dr. Mathews for my next update on Oct. 8, 2003, three days after my 40th birthday. Thanks for all the prayers and support from my family and me.

Hey its me again. I talked with Grady last night and you will not believe this> HE HAS LOST FROM 525 TO 494!!!!! That is amazing! He is doing well. Went back and had his staples removed with the exception of the one that he had trouble with in the hospital. He said he should be back here to post and update next week. Keep praying ya'll its working!!!!!!!!

Just a quickie to let you all know that Grady is doing wonderfully even well enough to go to church sunday in his golf cart!! yes you heard me right, he got out of the hospital on Saturday and was riding to church the next day! Now is that faith in our Creator or what??? I talked with Grady for a long time yesterday and he is doing really well. He did sound a bit tired but he was really talkative and was giving some good tips. Ya'll keep up those prayers and he said he should be back at OH next week to keep you posted!

Grady, I learned of your surgery on Saturday before you had it on Monday. Ive prayed so hard for you all day Monday and everyday since. I went to orientation on Thursday night and checked on you then also. You hang in there and May God richly bless you and your family. You can give me some advice when I get my surgery date all set up. Sincerely, Marylou
