Hi Gary, I saw where your having surgery very soon.Don't let fear get in your way. I too have had a battle with fear, but I look at it this way,When God gets ready to take us home ,he's going to take us whether it be through surgery, a car wreck, a heart attack, or just in our sleep. But we have to have faith!! I believe he is wanting to see us succeed in our new challenge and I believe he is right there holding us up and keeping us safe.I pray that God guides the surgeons hands and gives you a speedy recovery with no complications!!May God bless you,LOL Lora Lee

Whoa, what's this about your age?? I'm 54 & I know there are quite a few of us over 50 having this surgery, even some in their 60's. So best of Luck to you as you pursue your goal of a Healthy life.

Gary, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.
