Dear Gary, I've read about your having no hunger being normal, if it's recently after surgery like a month or 6 weeks. It was at another site. I hope this note makes you not think you are going through something strange. Congrats on your operation and weight loss.

Hi Gary, I, too, had the bpd/ds. I never felt hungry the first month either, but you must force yourself to eat the full liquid diet at least--cottage cheese, oatmeal, pudding, yogurt, etc. Whether you feel like it or not, you just have to do it. Your appetite will begin to come back as the swelling in your tummy goes down. Right now, you can't hold 6 ounces because of the swelling from the surgery. Give it some time. God bless you and hang in there. Brenda Z. (Boise, Idaho)

Gary - Congratulations on the 37lbs lost!!! It may seem like you still have a ways to go but I think 37lbs. is fantastic! Be proud of yourself and keep doing what you're doing. Best wishes - Anna

Gary, I'm so glad you're on the other side! I'll soon be there too on 5/7. Sounds like all went well and you have no regrets as I know you were aprehensive. Good luck to you and God Bless!

GARY~~If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you
