7 weeks. This week I lost 4.5# and 4.75 inches for a total of 33.5# and 49 inches. This is the lowest I've weighed since my senior year in college. I've increased my protein, and now I just need to get back going on the exercise.

6 weeks out and things are starting to happen again. I'm down 3 lbs an 4.75 inches this week. Apparently increasing protein and fluids works. I'm now drinking 1 or 2 glasses of milk in the morning. Then I'm focusing on protein. I checked my ketosis level this morning and I'm in the moderate zone. That, too, is an improvement. I'm sort of figuring out that too much is a bad thing, as well as too little. I'm happy with the small and moderate levels. Well, I'm off to bible study. Y'all have a good day.

I've officially hit a plateau. Didn't lose an ounce this week, and only 2 inches. I've been trying to increase my protein and water to get this moving again. I really hadn't been eating much at all. I throw up about once every 3 days or so. I've incorporated protein bars into my diet and started back on more fluids for protein. (I figured I had a double positive there... protein and fluid) I'll be back next week and tell you if it worked.

4 weeks post-op and down 26# and 37.5 inches. The pounds have slowed down again, but the inches are still coming off. Just looking at my weight loss pattern, I'm assuming that this is just a temporary slowdown before I more significant drop. I have noticed a change in my body, but I'm impatient. I want for everyone to notice a big difference! I know I know, in time.

3 weeks out and 24 lbs and 30 inches gone! I'm starting to eat regular food now and it could not have come a day too soon. Things are looking up and I'm doing about 50 minutes a day on the treadmill and I'm starting to get back to the gym to lift weights. So things are good!

2 weeks down! Oy!! The weight loss has slowed down quite a bit. I'm drinking all my fluids, most days anyway. I'm exercising... and it has just slowed. Although, I looked at someone's profile that started about the same weight that I did, and I'm about on the same pace. So I'm feeling a little better about that. I'm down 16.5# and 22.5 inches. I have my first post op appt tomorrow. I'm ready to move on to the next stage of the diet. I'm very much looking forward to scrambled eggs!!

Hi there everyone! I'm home and have been here for a few days. I've feeling much better. The surgery went off without a hitch. I had a little post op fever that wouldn't go down, so they kept me an extra day. But I'm doing soooo much better now. I just wanted to thank everyone for all their well wishes. This site has been great for support and as an information reference. Y'all are great!
