Week 15 - lost 2 lbs this week but only 1.5 inches for a total of 52.5 lbs and 76 inches. I'm not discouraged by not hitting my goal this week.. it was a stretch anyway. But I am half way there. If I can squeak out another 2 lbs this week then I'll be there! I AM a little discouraged about the low amount of inches lost however. I am going to workout like a mad woman this week. I've really been neglectful in that arena. I also think I should start taking some fiber or something. I just don't "go" that often, and when I do... it's a horrifying experience. (trying not to get too graphic) Maybe I could add that benefiber stuff to my protein shake in the morning. Anyone have any experience with that stuff? Well, I'm off to the office. Y'all take care!

I didn't have a chance to post yesterday, but I did take the measurements. I lost 2.5# last week and 3.5 inches for a total of 50.5# and 74.5 inches. I hit the 50# mark goal this week... next week I hope to hit the next goal of weighing less than 200. That's 4 lbs in one week. Not impossible, but still a stretch. I'll give it my best shot.

13 weeks.. I lost 2 lbs this week and 3.25 inches for a total of 48 lbs and 71 inches. I got in some exercise this week and one protein shake each morning. I really think the extra protein is helping. I can't believe I lost weight over Xmas. What a change a $35K surgery makes!! lol I bought a pair of size 16 jeans this week, and I'm already wearing them. They are tight, but they are on. I can't wait to buy a pair of 14 jeans OHHH and my first time to buy something in a "normal" store. I'm 2 lbs away from being down 50 lbs, and 6.5 lbs away from being below 200. I'm very excited. OHHHH.. I'm no longer severely obese... I'm just obese now. WOOHOO!!! lol I hope everyone has a happy new yeat all you losers!!

12 weeks... lost 3.5# this week and 3.5 inches for a total of 46# and 67.75 inches. I hit one of my landmarks... under 210 so I am only considered obese now. I'm no longer severely obese. WHEE!! Now the next thing I'm looking forward to is being down 50#. I'd love to hit that by my 3 month mark... but I'm not gonna get too hung up on it. I've been bad bad bad about exercise. With all the Xmas hustle and bustle, I just haven't done it. But I have been much better on getting my water in and more protein. So I think that has helped the weight loss. I also had a checkup with my internist... all my bloodwork is normal. So that's another positive. I hope everyone has a merry christmas and a losing new year!

11 weeks post op.... squeaked out a 2 pound loss this week and 2.75 inches for a total of 42.5# and 64.25 inches. I only got in 1 day of exercise this week, but I did drink more water. I didn't get in the 40 oz a day that I was shooting for, but I did get in 32 oz most days. That's going to be my goal again this week... 40 oz a day and exercise 4 days. til next week....

10 weeks and MAN has it slowed down! I only lost 1 lb this week and 3.5 inches for a total of 40.5 lbs and 61.5 inches. I only exercised 3 days this past week and I didn't do any better on my water. I don't think I'm going to have much moer time for the exercise this week than I did last... in fact I'll have less time. I will probably only be able to exericse on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Well, ok, I'll have a little more time than I thought. I don't have any excuse for not getting the water in though. Ok... new goal for the week. Drink 40 oz of water a day. and 4 days of exercise. I need to get some hand weights at home too, since I exercise on the treadmill at home.

9 weeks.. 3 lbs this week for a total of 39.5#. I also lost 4.25 inches for a total of 58 inches. I got in 4 days of exercise this week. (Beating my goal of 3) I'm happy about that. I'm up to running for 10 minutes consecutively. I've been doing interval training, and I'm up to 15 minutes running altogether (out of a 30 min workout) but I'm very happy about the 10 min consecutive. I really need to focus on getting in more water. I'm not drinking nearly enough. So my goals this week are to exercise 5 days and to drink at least 32 oz of water a day. (I know that's not enough, but baby steps is my thing)

Midweek note... Today is my 2 month anniversary and I'm down 40#. My goal is to be down another 15# this month to be down 55# by my 3 mo anniversary.

8 weeks. Did better with the exercise this week. I exercised 2 days. My goal is for at least 3 this week. (one step at a time) I lost 3 lbs this week and 4.75 inches for a total of 36.5 lbs and 53.75 inches. I'm really looking forward to a couple of milestones... being under 210... that way I'm just obese instead of severely obese; and being in the 100s again. THAT will be WONDERFUL!! 'til next week!
