Hi Julie, I have my surgery a week after you so I know how you feel!! Happy, worried, excited, anxious, thrilled, depressed!! Up and down, up and down!! I just try to keep busy with projects around the house but most important is getting enough sleep.....so what I do is, one hour b4 bed I fill the bathtub, light candles and soak, calm myself down, say a prayer, do some deep breathing and then positive visualization (see yourself, thin, running or playing with your kids or playing with you DH OR DB, whatever). Or doing things you can't do now. It relaxes me so I can get a good nights sleep. Spend some time each day posting support messages to other's pages to help others out and give back to the site. Because in the end, we NEED this surgery for better health. Best of luck to you on your journey, hon! And remember, you are not alone! We're here for you! HUGS! Carol Percel
