Overall my stay was good. There was one nurse that was hard to communicate with leading to me having an episode that could have been avoided.

My teeth were chipped while getting intubated. I couldn't get anyone to document as a result I couldn't get reinbursement. Risk management would not talk to me while I was hospitalized. Later they accused me of lying and asked how I could prove they did it.

The only thing I found objectionable was when I was discharged from the hospital. Rather than taking me down in a wheelchair, which is customary, they had me walk out. I was rather lightheaded from the Vicodin, so the walk could have been disasterous ... for both the hospital and myself!

This is a Catholic based hospital, being non-denominational by choice, the priest & sister came by to pray for my soul, not happy about that. Overall, it was a good experience at this hospital

You just can't beat valet parking! I had a roomate with visitors but felt my privacy was not invaded. Visiting hours are VERY strict. The health care staff on my floor were trained to care for bariatric patients. A VERY good experiance! I would choose this hospital again if there ever was a need .

I really felt comfortable there and the staff was very encouraging. My call lights were answered promptly and medication, especially the all important pain meds, were always on time.

They specialize in WLS so are very helpful and make you as comfortable as possible and at the same time make you help yourself. Excellent care!!!
