If you are used to skimpy gowns, wait til you try on one of theirs! I swam in it. No gaps or tugging at the strings. What a relief. I talked to nurses who have had this surgery or who's spouse did. They are used to big people for patients. Big beds with special bariatric mattresses. Nursing staff was 50% very good & helpful, 50% so-so.

It was over all a good hospital stay. Some of the nurses I had were horrible but others were excellent. I did not have a private room and my roomate was very noisy! It was hard to get any rest but I felt so awful that I would not have rested well reguardless. I felt safe and taken care of it is just not fun being in the hospital and it was my first time staying in one.
