My opinion of Mercy is that it is one of the better hospitals in Oklahoma City. I would not hesitate to be hospitalized there again. I had one complaint about one of the staff and it was addressed immediately!

I would not hesitate to recomment Mercy to anyone considering having surgery there. I was treated kindly and with respect and the entire staff seems to be extremely knowledgeable about the weight loss surgery processes.

My stay there was uneventful. I had my surgery, got good care, and went home.

I am sheduled for an RNY on 9/23/03 and will be at Mercy Hospital again and am very fine with that decision.

I would recommend this hospital and its staff for WLS the staff was very supportive and knowledgeable.

Please don't feel I am biased because I work at this facility. If anything, I feel I am more critical, because I know how the system works. I was actually a little surprised at how wonderful the care was. Being an emergency department nurse, my views regarding inpatient nursing expectations are probably a little biased, but I found my nursing care outstanding!

Just be careful when they do the Barium Check. They lost my 'Fanny Pack' that had my pain meds in it. I beleive that would have made a difference in my recovery. Then the Morphine IV backed up.

Very good staff. Very good equipment. The ONLY problem that I had with this hospital is that the Dietary department was not familiary with my new nutritional needs. I had to send my meals back each time for what I needed and required.
