Mercy Health Center Hospital

Unclean help, (obvious) pealing wall paper in prep room, insects in overhead lights, refused to allow me to comment on paper about experience, rude offensive pastoral staff.

The night nurses were not easy to work with. Thet scramed at my Mom.for no reason i was sick because i had a blood colt in my new stomach.

I was very please and would recommend the hospital to anyone.

The whole experience was wonderful at Mercy, they were always prompt on my needs and explaining things to me. My husband got to stay in the room with me and he was a big help.

I felt safe & secure during my stay there. Mostly everyone was very nice & helpful.

I was not impressed by Mercy at all, the surgery center and its staff were GREAT, but the nurses on my floor acted as though you were an incinvenience to them (there were a couple of exceptional LPN's though that were very helpful and friendly). Also maybe it was because my hubby stayed with me 24/7 but he measured my urine amounts and would have to tell them then he dumped it, if not it stayed there till the next time I had to go, he got me up and down from bed (alone), he made sure I had everything, he fixed my bed when it needed fixing, the only thing he didn't do was administer meds and take my BP.

I would prefer Baptist Hospital over Mercy.

The hospital really seemed to be prepared for my recovery. They almost knew what I would need before I needed it. I really was very comfortable there. I would highly recomend it to any one.

some shifts were very good, one shift was excellent. However, there was a shift when it was difficult to get meds. I went 3 days without any bath, shower, shave, etc. When I asked about it, I was told my wife should do it. One nurse, Terry, was exceptional.
