Good Samaritan Hospital

It is a comfortable hospital. The only nag I have is that there is a lot of construction now and you have to drive almost in a complete cicle to get to the front of the hospital.

Some things I liked was that I had a private room, and my pain was controlled with a PCA. They had large gowns, and wheelchairs. Things that didnt go so well. My first time up they forgot me in the chair. They didnt answer call lights in a timely fashion...once my IV pump rang for a hour and after ringing 4 times someone finally came in. I kind of thought some of the nurses felt like this was a drastic measure for weight loss after casual talk.

The nurses' on the surgical floor (not ICU) were so non-compassionate for your personal needs. My third day there, I could not get a nurse to help me take care of myself after I went the bathroom. "Your a grown woman, and you are not trying hard enough." This is just one of many examples I could give you on the quality of care. I would never go back there in a million years and would never recommend it.
