My first impression with Dr. Gluck was that he and his staff where very caring people. They made me feel very confortable with the whole process. They were and still are there for me with any questions I have.

Dr. Gluck doesn't know this but he was the third surgeon that I visited before deciding on him. I was looking for a surgeon that offered the whole genuine deal. My first two experiances made me feel like I was in a very scripted setting. Kind of like being on a conveyor belt and being stamped as acceptable or unacceptable. When I went to see Dr. Gluck and his first seminar, I was skeptical. But found myself very impressed with the thouroughness of his whole team. I didn't feel pressured to make this life altering decision right then and there. It was an informative meeting with a lot of information that I took home and thought about for a couple of months. Once I called the office everyone was happy and helpful and so nice. I appreciated his multi team approach to everything from nutrition to surgery to mental health. Dr. was very upfront with me about risks and the extreme changes I would have to make in my near future. I feel confident that my surgery will go great because I really feel that he is a great surgeon who knows his stuff. I would say the only thing that he needs to work on is that he gets real serious when he talks to you. He needs to lighten up a wee bit because his patients love him and are grateful for how he changes their lives, so smile more doc!!

My first impression with Dr Gluck was that him an his staff are very dedicated to helping the morbidly obese. they are respectful an extremely helpful with questions and answering any questions or fears you may have. wonderful group.The team that works with dr gluck is like an extended family everyone works with you to choose what is best for you. i would recomend him to everyone. He has a wonderful bedside manner and a warm caring sense of humor. that puts you at ease.His staff is dedicated to helping you in every aspect of the surgical process. I look forward to working with him an his staff to achieve my ultimate goal.

Dr. Gluck is the best doctor ever. He cares more about his patients than any doctor I have ever seen. He is AWESOME!

Dr. Gluck is a very caring individual whose wife Jennifer is the RN clinical coordinator. They are both awesome people with a wonderful staff. Dr. Gluck completely explained the surgical procedure to me and gave me a manual to bring home and read. My consultation lasted 2 hours and I felt completely informed of the whole gastric bypass program as well as the risks by the time I left his office. Aftercare is an important aspect of the process and he works closely with the H.E.A.R.T. Center here in Muskegon for nutritonal education and excersise. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate Dr. Gluck and his program a 10.

Dr. Gluck and his staff and very compasionate. They are very thorough in all the steps along the way and didn't leave any questions unanswered. Dr. Gluck and staff emphasized the importance of pre-op as well as post-op care. They provide each prospective patient with an informational folder and once you are accepted as a patient, you are given a very detailed and comprehensive 12-section binder with all aspects of the surgery, risks, benefits, what to expect and to prepare for before, during and after surgery. Nutrition, excercise and support groups are also part a structured program. The importance of all of these things are again spelled out and addressed during your pre-op appointments. Although I haven't personally been through surgery with Dr. Gluck yet, I still highly recommend him to anyone who is considering bariatric surgery.

From my first meeting with Dr. Gluck, aand even now 6 months post op, he and his surgical and office staff have been some of the most professional, caring and supportive people I have met. Working in the medical field myself, I meet lots of physicians and other professionals, but I would have to say none more caring about their patients than Dr. Gluck and his staff.

Not once have I felt "like a number" though I know it would be so easy for them to be that way with all the surgeries they do. Each time I walk into the office I am greeted with a smile by staff who really know who their patients are. The entire staff are always reassuring patients how well they are doing and how great they look with the weight loss. And there is no bigger cheer leader in the office than Dr. Gluck. He is more than a surgeon, he is a caring friend who is never too busy to talk to patients if they have concerns.

This surgery was a big decision in my life as I know it is with other patients. I don't advise people to rush into the decision, but rather take the time to talk with a bariatric surgeon about the many life changes you will undergo as a result of the surgery, and the risks involved.

Dr. Gluck is well trained in the surgery and will take the time to discuss all the aspects and outcomes with you.

Would I call him a hero, I am not sure, but I know that because of him and his staff, I made the decision to have the surgery and I am a new person because of it. Not only a new person, but a healthier person as well.

I first meet Dr. Gluck in 2000 when a close family member had to have surgery. I was impressed with him then and I have great confidence in his surgical skills. His program is structured before and after and I appreciate that. I understand the necessity of eating right and excerising in order to live a long healthy life . His staff is caring and wonderful and so far, they have been very accommodating. Dr. Gluck is very truthful of the risks of surgery and knowing his surgical competence and caring manner, a patient could not ask for more.

Dr. Gluck is an excellent doctor with an excellent staff. His office staff is very courteous and accomodating. The reason I selected Dr. Gluck was because of the "complete package." He has not only himself but a nutritionist, a physical trainer, and a counselor who work together to assist you both before and after surgery. I feel that Dr. Gluck and his staff has given me more than enough information about surgery to make a wise choice. I am so excited and grateful that I am a patient of his.

I met with my surgeon, Dr. Brian Gluck, yesterday for my initial consult. I have seen Dr. Gluck previously for abdominal pain. Dr. Gluck and his staff are absolutely awesome! They are very knowledgeable and warm and understanding. He stresses the importance of following the program and using all of the resources to make the procedure as successful as possible.
