Golly this is frustrating! I want to add my latest photo as my new avitar. I was able to add it to my pictures but it is not letting me add it as an avitar. I made it as small as I can, what else can I do? As of to date July 14, 2008 I have lost 132 pounds going from my all time high of 368.7 down to 236 and dropping! My BMI is down to 39.3 from my all time high of 61.4. Whew!! I just ordered the new exercise set called "Kettlenetics" to exercise with. Love to dance and these are flowing dance moves with weight resistance, hope it gets me whipped in to shape along with doing my walking!

I had my Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy on Oct. 22nd, 2007. Today it is February 12th 2008 and I have currently lost a total of 90.2 lbs. from my highest ever weight! I feel absolutely fantastic!! I have 128.5 lbs. to go until I reach my goal weight.

This is my first time to this site and I am a brand new member.  I just had a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy on Oct. 22, 2007.  I am following the full fluids diet now so any help or suggestions would be appreciated with this.  I am wondering how many others have already had the Vertical Sleeve surgery and if you are dropping the weight good from it?  I did not know anything about it when I went to see a surgeon about having weight loss surgery.  He said it was my best option for my BMI and the fact that I have to take aspirin and arthritis medicine.  It is not going to cause me to have ulcers in my stomach the way it does a Rouen-Y patient.  Mostly though it was because of my weight and BMI that this method was chosen,  which was the safest option for me he said.  How are you all that have had it doing now?  Would love to get some feedback from any of you that have had this surgery.
