went to my initial appointment with Dr Carcamo yesterday. it was ok although found out i have to do an endoscopy. ughh!not looking forward to that. but its just another step i have to go through. its all good. i wish i could just bypass all these things and get straight to the point but of course insurance has requirements. anyway ill be posting again in a few days.

Tomorrow is my first real appointment with dr Carcamo. I am looking forward to getting this whole procedure started. I have already crossed the biggest bump and that was the financial part of the nutritionist. now its just 4 months until i can have my surgery if i meet all the requirements. its really hard to stick with this diet but i am trying. hopefully tomorrow will go good. get back to you then.

went to my first nutritionist appointment today. that was a hump that i had to get over financially. it was a good experience and i learned alot about my eating habits. i am so excited now i have 4 more appointments with the dr. nutritionist and physical therpy and i can have my surgery we are looking for somewhere around august. i cant wait to get it done and start my new journey to the new me.

on the third of this month of may i start my journey towards the goals i have to accomplish before surgery. i have to loose 20 pounds before i can schedule so i am really looking forward to starting my nutrition program. I have been exercising and doing what they told me to do up until this very day. now i am ready for the next step in starting my four month journey to pre=op. medicare requires so much i wish i could just bypass all of it and jump right in but i cant. anyway ill be updating every month so keep watching.

good news today i found out that i have secondary insurance that will cover all my expenses except  for the nutritionist. today has beena good day for me except walking a half mile. but its all good at least i can still walk. i cant wait to get everything done so i can finally schedule my surgery.

i am really getting frustrated i am ttrying so hard to come up with the money for my surgery need and i cant seem to get it together. i only need 500.00 and it seems like 1000.00. my doctor said i need to have this surgery for my health because i am at risk for heart attack but the more i try to get the money or think i have it the harder it is to get it or keep it something always comes up and i have to use it. i wish it could just go straight to the people i am supposed to see like the physical therapist., phsy chiatrist, nutritionist and then the doctor so i wouldnt have to worry about it i only have medicare and i have to go through this whole bunch of crap just to have the procedure and its just not something i can pull out of my hat. I was hoping to have my surgery by the end of the year but now im not so sure. its very depressing. so congrats to everyone who has been able to do this. hope to join you soon.
