Dear Pam, just read your site, wonderful that you finally have a date. I can tell you have what it takes to have this surgery, since you have really stuck with this process. Some of the things that I have kept ever present in my mind are "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the action in spite of the fear" another one, I recently came across is, "I never said it would be easy, I SAID IT WOULD BE WORTH IT". May the God of Loving kindness bless you, your family, and grant a speedy and uneventful recovery. Congratulations.
