Here we go again!!!! LOL. This is my 2nd time doing the weight loss surgery rollercoaster. I have been large all my life, I decided about 4 years ago to do the lap bad surgery. In the beginning it was completely cool and awesome but I realized from almost the very start it wasnt all it was cracked up to be. I lost 60 in 4 months. Then I hit a plateau... I worked out, had a personal trainer and I ate healthy and really wanted to kick start my weight loss again. For a few months I was still losing but at a much slower rate. THEN one day I experienced the most horrible pain. I didnt know what it was.... just uncontrollable heartburn and back pain. I thought I was having a heart attack. I went to the ER and I was told I had gallbladder disease which just means I had alot of gallstones. At that time they didnt see a reason for me to have my gallbladder removed I just had to watch what I ate. Anyways to make a long story longer... I had my gallbladder removed in Novemeber of 2007 and the weight loss has been almost none existant since. Oh wait let me rewind a little bit. I havent had a fill in almost 3.5 years... maybe longer. The reason??? I cant seem to eat even with no fill. Weird right? Yea I thought so too... I had my first few fills and I was fine. BUT THEN I became too tight, got a unfill and was still too tight... to the point I couldnt swallow my own spit. So I have been completely unfilled for years and the worst part is I can only eat laying on my side. You read it right.... 90% of the time when I eat I am in my room laying on my bed on my left side. I have absolutely no clue why that is but when I do try to eat sitting up I get the worst pain in my chest and I am face first in the toilet. I throw up at least 5 times a week. I dont know if my band is defective or what. I am too blame in that regard because for a period in time I didnt have insurance and no money to pay for follow up care so right now I am looking to see what's going on with this thing and hopefully get a revision. Im not sure what's going to happen but thats my story.
