Surgery approved & scheduled!!! 3-11-11

Good Evening....This is my first blog on my journey to a new me!! I got the phone call Wednesday that my Gastric Bypass Surgery was APPROVED @ 100% & got another phone call today that im scheduled for March 11, 2011 with Dr. Andrew Dewitt!!! I have been doing the happy dance and smiling from ear to ear...
Now i have lined up a few people that already had it & have promised to be my support all the way through...I would like to know the good & the bad from yall, i want to know what preparations you made before the surgery date and what did u prep for afterwards....
One of my concerns are my return to work...Im a direct care worker for a adult male with Autism, i assist him in EVERYTHING...what do you all think my return to work will be like??
Im NEWLY DIVORCING AND CANT WAIT TO BRING OUT THE ME THATS ALREADY ON THE INSIDE!!!
