My story began almost ten years ago when i started trying to get pregnant, I would always say "I will lose weight after i have a baby..well i had two pregnancies, one was a miscarriage the other one was etopic in my left tube; the pregnancy & my tube had to be removed and the doctor said his options where limited because of my size. After my last lost i told the doctor i wanted to focus on my weight loss journey.
I researched Surgeons in my area, Dr. Andrew Dewitt @ Princeton BMC became highly recommended..i went to the seminar alone, and all of my appointments (cardiology, pulmonary, psychiatrist, sleepstudy and the dredded 7months of dieting..<--lost 20lbsetc) I also watched two coworkers go through the lap band and one had the gastric, they both had different results.... The staff at Dr. Dewitt office have been more than understanding and caring about me, HE & diet Dr said i am a PERFECT SURGICAL CANDIDATE!!
I was not a overweight child, in my early twenties is when i started gaining & loosing...and the cycle repeated...when i went to the surgeon i was 379, i was weighed last week at 358...when i met my ex husband in 2005 i was 301, i can remember trying my best to get below 300 and it didnt happen..after we got married he wanted a baby, so i stopped taking the phentermine and gaing all i lost and then some; when i was weighed at Dr Dewitt and they said 379, i was overwhelmed..i was 21 pounds from being 400<--that wasnt shocking but i was NOT prepared to deal with that number..
My Surgery date is almost a month away, this entire process has not even taken a a year..ive been approved at 100%, so everyone pleaseeeee help me in this adventure..
