Dear Micwest, I am so sorry to hear about what happened. You will have surgery Febuary 3rd Sweetie and im gonna be praying crazy for ya girlfriend. You are such a sweet person and I just pray you are out of pain soon and up and ready for surgery. Hey when u go to surgery you ask them for a special gastric bypass bed and they can get it for you. Its Pressure Sensitive so when u move it moves it was the best thing for my 3 herniated degenerative disc. You will be fine real soon as if this never happened. God Bless and you are in my prayers. Micwest, well good grief! I'm so sorry you hurt your back so badly. Sounds like something I would do. :) Very happy to see that you can get in again at a relatively early date. Wendy I know at this point there are a lot of things going on in your mind. I had been there myself. My surgery was canceled in the OR and was reset for the next day and was canceled again It was then finally done 2 days later. It is not a sign or a punishment in any way. It is just what the Doctors feel is best for you. WLS will happen. Try to keep your head up high and take one day at a time and have faith. Rite now get past the pain in the back and know soon as you are able you will have your WLS. The pain in the heart will go away. I know you have waited so long for this day. Steve Stark

Attention ! Just wanted to let everyone know that Micwest called me about an hr.ago. She had her surgery cancelled due to her having a HERNIATED DISC !!! Yikes ! There was a wls cancellation for Feb. 3rd so she has that slot. Let us all pray for her that she can heal and be able to take that Feb. 3rd surgery date. She says she is literally " out of tears ". Those tears are from her extreme pain and also tears of wanting this surgery, getting a date, preparing for it and then going to the hospital to be sent home. She told me that she literally had to "crawl" on her hands and knees to her car this a.m. ! Wow, she was determined to have that wls. I told her to get well and heal and look upon this as she was NOT meant to have that wls today. For whatever reason. She does have a bright outlook and will battle back from this. She is experiencing some severe pain in her spine and has a round bulge at base of spine that is very large. As one who has suffered from the same experience, I can tell you it is the worst pain. I assume there are many of you out there who can say the same. I will continue to update on here. Please keep Micwest in your prayers and send her get well messages. She is not able to get down stairs to her computer or she would probably be posting something on here. Blessings to all ! Gram
