Best wishes on your upcoming surgery. We both wish you all the luck in the world with your recovery too. We BOTH had open rny's in 2001. Mine (Doug, aka: OLD RODEO CLOWN PANTS) was in Oct and I have lost 215 lbs. My sweet wife, Nancy, had her surgery in June and she has lost 110 lbs. Wendy, I am so sorry to hear about your back problem. I had back surgery oct 29,2001. I tried everything. So after finding nothing worked I had surgery, I know this is not what you want to hear, but I felt better in recovery, right after my surgery than when I walked into the hospital. I will be praying for you, GOOD LUCK

Micwest has NOT had her lap rny much to her disappointment ! I talked to her by phone last night and she was back in the hospital with her bulging disc problems. She had just undergone a spinal nerve block and was hoping that it would bring her relief from the pain. Her doctor said that if it didn't work , that she is left with looking at surgery to have the disc removed. YIKES ! She does NOT want that. Please keep Wendy in your prayers. Let's fill up her computer with emails ! She was hoping to get to come home today. Her wls is on for March 28th. Hang in there, Wendy !! (((((((from Gram )))))))
