Ok so it is Monday and I go in for surgeryvon Thursday and to say the least I an getting a lil nervous!  I have been running aound making sure that everything will be fine while I'll be away.  I have been cleaning the house and making sure that my son will be ok. I am a bundle of nerves at this point and the surgery is becoming less surreal.  I will try yo post right up until the surgery date!  Pray for me ! 

My My 1st weigh in was August 10,2009 (288.6lbs) and I was supposed to be changing my eating habits and exercising ..... huh! I for the life of me couldn't get the friggin ball rolling.  My husband was still bringing the "crack" in the house and i was loving every minute of  the caloric packed goodness! ***** No people Not REAL crack!******  I was strung the hell out!  Then I had my A-HA moment and realized that I had to re-establish my relationship with  food.  I called the shots dammit! Not food!  I told my husband that I cannot continue to eat the foods he eats and expect to succeed on this journey to smaller drawls!  And if you really support me than you can't offer or suggest items that will have me taking five steps back!  I had done really good and refused to eat from fast food places, upped my water intake and began to exercise.  Well I think I made the choice sometime in September(early).  I have lost 8 lbs and Now I can make better choices.  If I go to a fast food place I opt for the healthier choice.  I also don't do it often. 

Now that my surgery is 4 days away, I am anxious!  I have had other surgeries before but each one was different in their own right!  All of them were successful as will this one.  My surgeon is great and really listens to his patients and takes care to explain anything. My purpose is to document  every step of my journey!  I will NOT candy coat anything, I will shoot it straight from the hip!  So I'm telling y'all now ..........
