April 9th - Lazy in bed
Apr 09, 2007
I signed up on Saturday and just figured out how to create blogs. I am thankful for the site and I read through MarieL info and it was as if she was writing down every thought in my head. So I decided to document my journey as well.
I have been in touch with Dr.Yasrebi and he will hopefully perform my surgery when the insurance company approves. 3 weeks ago I went for my first consultation and we spent 2 hours talking and gathering information and he performed a thorough exam. Then he put me on 1200 calorie diet and gave me this breathing machine that I have to use 100 times a day. I have to document everything single thing I put in my mouth and walk 30 minutes a day.
Meanwhile it hasn't been that bad, with the exception of the eating, I am so damn hungry by the time I get home that it is ridicoulus. Lucky I was able to find some lactose free slim fast drinks for breakfast other wise I would be miserable.
I didn't feel like going to work today, so I stayed in bed and watched my dogs fight and play. I have a 3 yr old maltese and a 4mth old cocker spaniel. I am Married and have been for 5 years, I have 2 kids and they are twins, 6 years old a boy and a girl. We were thinking about having more but I was like "no way at this weight" I am already extermely uncomfortable with my weight and I am short with short legs. My husband is supportive but doesn't think I need the surgery, but he hasn't had to deal with all the things that I have at my weight. It is certainly not for lack of trying. My las attempt was with going on Metabolic Research Center and I lost 75lbs and gaing back about 35 and have lost about 15. But I can never get below 200 and stay. Even if I did I would still be considered overweight. Where is the justice in that!! Oh well in the mean time I will just breath munch on an apple and count down the days until I get approval.
