When I got the call from the hospital and they verified my info, I said OK it is almost here, Then I was at work today and was looking at the calendar and I was like OMG, I only got 1 more full week of work, then it is Christmas, then a couple ,more days of work, and IT IS HERE! I am starting to get a little excited and I really want this surgery to be over with so I can get on with my life already!! Also I got a message in my e mail from obesity help giving me helpful advice on my surgery, congratulating me, and telling me that it is almost here. The support on this website is outstanding! I am so in love with my life right now, and I can not wait to get 90 more of these unwanted lbs off so I can start to live again!! GOD is awesome!!
I forgot to tell you guys that I had to battle with my PCP office to get my Pre op results sent over to my surgeon, and finally all of my results were sent over and Now all is done and ready!!
Just found out the time of my surgery!!!

At the time when my surgeon office gave me my surgery date, they said that they would call the week before to give me my surgery time. WellThe hospital just called and needed to verify my information, and I asked them 'Do you know my surgery date", and the nice gentlemen said Awwwhhh yes give me one second to put the rest of your information in the computer", and I said "OK, no problem I will wait",then the guy said ok "They got you set for 1pm" I was like ok! I am soooo happy because I know my time is finally here!! YAYYYYYY!!!

Well I went to get my Pre op done at my PCP office today, and everything went good, I just got to make sure that they fax everything over to my surgeons office, because I really do not want the same problem that I had the last time. I did another EKG, Blood work, a urinalysis, and a complete history and physical-----Yes I know what you guys are saying---"I thought you already had all of this done" Well everything had to be within 30days, so anyway I am just glad that it is over! I did so much running around today and now I am just tired. I have this pain in the ass neighbor of mines,
and I am really getting close to laying his ass out!! I am trying to remain calm because I got more important stuff like"RNY" lol!! I went to the market and picked up a few post op things---Diet swiss miss coco, decaf tea, decaf coffee, fat free cream soups, and that is just some of the needed stuff. I am going back to get some sugar free syrups, and more protien powders-- Vanilla, cookies and cream, and unflavored. I am also going to get some plain greek yogurt, fat free cream cheese, jello sugar free chocolate temptations, sugar free popsicles, more crystal light, cases of water, cream of wheat, and some grits. I think this will be a good start. Well anyway I am getting very excited and can not wait! COME ON DECEMBER 29th!!

I got my pre surgery class on 12/8/11. I am scheduled for a pre op appt with my PCP on 12/12/11 (again, how many freakin pre ops will I need already geesh!!, I know everything has to be no more than 30 days old blah blah blahhh). The best thing is-----I got all of my leave approved with my job, so I can be out of work with no worries! 
Ok WLS come on I am ready 4 you now!

I would like to take this time to thank God first, because with out him none of this would be possible, second I would like to thank my loving husband, and my supportive family "You guys are the best", Last but most importantly I would like to thank My support crew OBESITY HELP " YOU guys kept me together when my patience was short, when I wanted to give up, and when I thought that this day would never come" Thank you OH family for your prayers, education, and touching words" I love you guys!!

!! Everything started out going good until my PCP did not send my results for the EKG, Adominal ultrasound, and my chest Xray. ALL of the other test were there my GI, and my blood work, and he went over it with me and it was really good. He asked me so when are you trying to have this surgery and I said before the end of the year, and he says "What is your rush?", I said " because I have been working really hard since March,2011, and I would like to have it and get it over with!" He said well I am filling up with dates and I have people who are in really ruff situations and there insurance is going to run out by the end of the year, he goes on to say I try to be fair to everybody, and understand each and everyone situation, can you understand?"( NOW THIS MAN DID TELL ME AT MY LAST VISIT THAT IF I GOT EVERYTHING DONE THAT HE CAN SCHEDULE ME AROUND THE MIDDLE OF DEC) So I said OK at this point I am desperate to just get a date, so he said I can put you in around the 1st of JAN I said ok cool, But he said I need your test results, so I called my PCP, and got them to fax it! My surgeon assistant came back into the room and said well they have not sent nothing yet and I am going to call you by the end of the day to give you a date, I said you promise, and she said I promise! So I went to work, and I was dissappointed, pissed, hurt, all of the above! I called my Pcp and verfied that they sent the results, and they said yes we sent everything!, So I called back to the surgeons office at 330pm, and they said yea we got it and a nurse has to review everything and we will call you back! So I got off at 4pm, and I called back to the surgeons ofice, and THEY WERE FREAKIN CLOSED!!!! So here is my Monday mission, I am going to call my surgeon office and ask if the other surgeon in the office have any open dates in DEC, and get transfered to him, and then express the way I feel, I mean I am entitled like everyone else, Me and my husband both work Govt jobs, and I pay for health insur, and he pays too, so I am doubled covered I want what I pay for GEESH!!! Just pissed the hell off!

Ok I am feeling a whole lot better. On Friday I had my EKG, an adominal ultrsound, chest X-Ray, blood work, and guess what I did get scheduled for my Upper Gi series , and that is scheduled for Wednesday 16th, Yeah!!
I heard that with this GI thing I have to drink this stuff called Barium, and People says that it tastes yucky!! Oh well anything to get this surgery done! Now when I go to my surgeon on this Fri 18th I will have everything ready and should get a definite surgery date!
