I MADE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE! Yeppers, I'm officially POST-OP! Wowie does it ever feel wonderful! I had a rough couple of days emotionally and got a utarin tract infection, but gosh the benefits are so worth any little problem! Special thanks to Angel Chris Elkins who visited and brought me lovely gifts, to Linda Almonte who cheered up my room with balloons and her smile, and to Ginny my hospital pal, who had surgery a few hours before mine. MayDay Club folks have been very supportive too! Blessings to you all who signed my surgery page. Best wishes to those having surgery this week. YOu are making the right decision! Love & Hugs from CT xoxoxox

I MADE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE!!! I am now officially a POST OP! Wowie! I am sooo relieved!!!! It was a little bit of a rough ride, but I am well, happy and helathy and on my way to a better me! Surgery was May 3rd, rough emotional day was May 4 and basic healing was the 5th & 6th. I can't believe how much better you feel from one day to the next. This website has been a truly wonderful experience and made my surgery and journey so much easier because of the knowledge I've received from the message board and the Q&A, and all the wonderful people I've met or e-mailed with from here. It's been amazing. :0)

**ANGEL REPORTING FOR DUTY** Just went to see Kathy at Hospital on her 2nd full day as a postie. She had a rough time of it yesterday...isn't that first full day hard? Anyway, she's looking great and we did the hall-crawl and talked with another postie who had her surgery same day as Kathy, and another pre op who has her date with Dr. Valin and his magic singing scalpel this Thursday. We had a lot of fun talking about life as a wls-er and the wonderful people we have met here on AMOS! Way to go Kathy and Ginny...and soon to be Linda! Have a great day and welcome to the losing side of life.
