Home Sweet Home! Well the easy part is over, the surgery is behind me, now I start the real, and lasting part of my journey.
The surgery went smooth, so far so good. I did end up having the LAP done and for that I am grateful. The morphine pump sucked, made me throw almost immediately, they took me off of tha after a few long hours, but finding a pain med was a challenge because I "thought" I was allergic to codine.
I was offered to go home the third day, but decided to stay because I was nervous about the pain meds, and I have a two hour drive home, but did go home day four. I am soooooooooo tired, I know it is mostly the meds causing me to be tired, but I am not ready to give them up yet. A bit sore, tender, I get nausea when I move around a lot so I move slow. I have excellent care at the hospital, and at home. Hubby bought a TV, enteretianment set up for spare room yesterday since I wont be in our (water) bed for awhile. I get bandages off today, and first shower, I am very excited about that.
I will keep ya all updated, thank you so much for all the support. Thank you Linda for being there, and believeing in me, Thank you Joy, Sam for the visits. Thnnks to my lovely and loving family for taking such good car of me. Yes, i am a truly blessed person.
