Ginger, Hang in there hun. This too shall pass. It sounds like you are going through a really rough time. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. You are going to have to really be strong right now especially since you are still recovering from surgery. God's speed in your recovery. Take care.

I am so stressed out.... As most of you know I've been in the hospital for complications and finally came home last Saturday. My mom has been living with me & caring for me and my 2 kids since my husband works nights. Well, tonight my mom got a call from my Grandmothers nursing home saying they were taking her to Kent General for trouble breathing. They thought she may be having a heart attack. Well, my sister just called and after doing 2 test on Grandma they found that she is having kidney failure and also found a large mass in her lung. Things are not looking good. Well, we haven't told my dad yet because he thinks mom is home with me. Dad has an appt tomorrow at Christiana Hospital testing again on his Colon. (Took out a cancerous mass July 2000). He is also having his own share of problems. So, me & my brother are just going to show up at his house in the morning (Thurs 10/3) and hopefully he will still go to his appt. My mom is so worried about me and getting my dad to go for his test! So, I'm just asking for everyone to please keep my family in your prayers!! And most of all I'm worried about the stress on my poor mother.... I can't help but crying... She has so much on her shoulders and does so much for everyone. Please just keep us all in your prayers... Love you all!!!

Sorry to hear your having problems, Ginger. I hope that this is the only complication that you have to go through and that the rest of your journey is smooth sailing!

Ginger, Im so sorry that this is happening at this time. It is a rough spot right now, but, once polished with time, will become a diamond for you. Hang in there kiddo, it will be worth it in the long run I think

People we need some PRAYERS here....Ginger went back into the hospital Thursday (9 days post-op)...developed a complication...she thought she'd be out by today. Talked to her last night and again today...she could barely talk for the brief 30 seconds I had her on the phone. Of course, at the moment she is deeply regretting this surgery. I am praying that she will get better real soon and be on her way to the happiness that she was seeking from wls! Please show her your support by posting to her surgery page. Thank you!
