Hey Karen! Thanks for the shout outs on your page! It was great being all together wasn't it? Even if we were in the recovery bin! LOL! I'm so sorry to hear about your trip down the halls of CHR! That must have been fun... NOT!!! You take that situation to the highest person who will listen. I think I was asleep through most of the commotion at that time because I had no idea anything had happened. I hope you are feeling much better now. I agree with you 100% that Dr. Wynn & Dr, Irgau are truly the BEST! Still can't wait to get to Vickie's! : ) Keep your spirits up and take care of yourself. I'll be keeping in touch.

First I want to THANK EVERYONE who has e-mailed,called, and shown me their support...it was overwhelming actually and I truly appreciate it. I had my lap band surgery on June 10 and came home on the 12th..a few minor issues and some entertaining stories about the whole hospital experience....feel free to check out the details on my profile page. If it weren't for this web site I wouldn't have known what to expect in the day to day progression of post-op and the mixed feelings that go along with it. Here's to the beginning of the rest of my life and a very heartfelt thank you to all of you who continue to post here at this web site. I personally plan on updating often and to share my experiences since there are fewer lap band patients at this site. Hopefully it will be helpful to someone out there.

I called the hospital to check in on Karen and they advised me that she was still in recovery. I got worried so I called her daughter at home. She reassured me that her mom was doing great and is expected to come home today. They still have Karen back in recovery because they don't have any rooms available for her! WOW! Well, Karen, well come to the other side! Best Wishes for a speedy recovery! Lap Band 6/10/03

In all things Remember,that the one above loves you,that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you,that you be given strength, endurance,love,peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room,know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. Hey Karen! We are in the same boat on the liquid thing! I just want to chew something! It's really weird. You're right though... the payoff will be really big when we hit Vickie's! Look out Christiana Mall! I'm doing the obsessive cleaning thing too so I'll just go out on a limb here and say we must be reacting normally! : ) I can't wait til tomorrow. See ya around the halls!
