Hi Ginger, I too have had to have a complete cardiac workup and stress terst besides a sleep study and a pulmonary function test. Now I have to go for an upper gi blood work u/a and another cardiogram. My surgery is scheduled for Sept 25, 2002. I'll pray everything goes well for you.

Ginger, Just wanted to tell you that I also have had a abnormal EKG. I was scheduled for surgery the following Monday and so they sent me right away to a cardiologist. I was scared to death. I had had several of them and no one had ever told me a thing. Out of curiosity, did you ever take PHEN PHEN.... As for mines, they cleared me for surgery and my cardiologist was there with me during a 7 hour surgery. I am going to get the final results of my ECHO Cardio GRAM, since I have never gotten that. BUT, if you do have any damage to your heart, and you took PHEN PHEN then my advice is to seek a lawyer. You can email me personally and we can chat if you would like. But good luck on your journey. Ginger--I wanted to let you know you are in good hands. Dr.Wynn is wonderful,she was my doctor. I know you have a wait,but it is well worth it.
