~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs~*~

Just got a message from Liz's husband, David. Liz was moved out of ICU into her own room today. Still not up to visitors (who could blame her). Thank-you to those wishing her well, Renee

Liz's husband, David, was very kind to call me after he and his daughter got home from a very long day at the hospital. Liz was spending the night in intensive care and they hoped to have her out sometime today. She will need to spend an extra few days in the hospital. Dr. Reines advised that only family visit for now so I'll plan for Saturday unless I hear differently from David. Liz's is having a harder go of it than we all were hoping. Please stop by her page and wish her a speedy recovery.

Liz's husband just called. Liz went into surgery around 11:30 AM and just came out at 5:00 PM. Apparently she had scar tissue from an earlier surgery to deal with and then, at the very end, they had to remove her spleen. Her husband said they assured him that all is well now despite the unexpected complications. She's in recovery. I'm going to go see her Friday evening. She's in INOVA Fairfax in Virginia and has my surgeon, H. David Reines so I believe she is in excellent hands. Please send her your best wishes for a speedy recovery. Thanks, Renee Desrosiers
