hey everyone ,
i cant believe im sleeved wahooooooo .
i cant tell u what a great experience i  had  thanks to  my coordinator Patti.
i want everyone to know  how great she was.  from explaining all the details and helping me to decide  which surgery was right for me to  setting up hotel  Dr,  to getting a call just moments ago  to see how i am feeling .  so thank you Patti where ever you are i will be forever grateful . 
now my story.  Tony one of the drivers  a sweet guy picked us up at the hotel in san diego and took us to get our blood work. i tipped him  a few dollars  every time  i once worked for tips so i know how important they  can be    then   i arrived at the hospital  and spoke to a patient coordinator  savelle he was so helpful  he asked me my medical , weighed me ,and then set me up to get my ekg. with  an older gentleman  he was a sweet heart  after that  nurse came in gave us the gown, hat and matching shoes  yahoo lol she then  compressed each leg with gauze  and put my  IV in . there were 3 patients that day  i was the last  to go. Dr Almanza came in my room introduced himself to me and explained the whole procedure   jokingly i told dr Almanza that he saved the best  for last lol. then he said back to me if i was a good girl  ,he would take 90% of my stomach   i laughed  then he said  no no 80% is good ;-)   i walked into the  operating room and was asked to lay donw on the table  the ansthelogist asked me a few questions and thats all i  remember. i woke up in my room  the hospital  was very clean  a lil small but they had everything that they needed so  this time size  didnt matter to me  lolol . it felt like every 15 min i was having my blood pressure taken by Alahandro a nurse  and  i was getting up walking around   in the corridors. pain wasnt much to talk about although i have a high tolerance for pain  but what ever gas pains i did have they dont linger  they come and go quickly  .   i was givin the pain meds and antibiotics through out the night  and by the next mid day  i was able to go to the guest house  as i felt great .   Tony took me and a few others  to the guest house and i was so pleasantly surprised.  it was so warm and cozy  and the staff was incredible  Patti said that the staff there  was great and they were.  i have to say that i took the time to get to know everyone there  the staff members and  the patients were wonderful .  there wasnt anything that the staff wouldnt do for you to be comfortable. so please ladies and gents  take the time out and get to know them  they are wonderful people .   the house was so clean  i think everytime one person used the rest rooms  there were cleaned because i never saw  them dirty not once .  Terry the cook    i loved her  she was teaching me how to cook even though i couldnt it anything grrrr lolol but someday i will.  
 we watched tv together in the living room   and i actually helped make the picture on the tv the right size lol. Dr Betancourt came in and said hello to everyone.  DR Brenda  a sweet heart came everynight  to give us pain meds antibiotics and to see how we were all feeling .   one morning we had to drink this purple barney ink like meds to be prepared for the xray later on that day  can we say ewwwwwwwww   
but i did it along with the others  we were all smiling with purple teeth , mouth and tongues lol   we went to the xray got our pic taken and we were back home at the guest house . 1st time we had soupa / soup  yummmmmmmm   that night  DR Brenda read all the xrays and all was well . Tony took us shopping  we all had so much fun  wahoooo. 
  i just wanted to let everyone know what a great and  happy   experience i had  thanks to Patti , and the staff of jerusalem hospital along with the  guest house.    let me know if  you  want   more info   i'd be glad to  help as  i am a firm believer  in paying it foward.

im done   wahooooooo !!!!
i feel  fantastic . i had a wonderful experience .   from the hospital stay , spotless, friendly , and caring staff .
to the guest house which i litterly felt like i was at home . Terry the cook and cleaner was amazing 
ill write more about it soon  i arrived home at 11 pm last night so im still a tad bit tired but wired too lol

i cant believe today i leave for San Diego at 125 pm yippeeeeeeee yaaaaaa hoooo !!!!
when i woke up this morning my daughter came to me and said" ma?  pleaase come home to me and daddy " i was like omgggggg of course   tomorrow she turns 29 and god forbid something happens to me on her birthday i will never forgive myself. well how can i   would have already  had flew the coop     i might have  mentioned that i did not select this date my sons best friend is having the surgery as well and i tagged along .  all kidding aside .  im so excitedddddd its finally here
i also wanted to say  good luck to all members  that are having surgery today  ur gonna do just great 

heyyyyyyy Everyone ,
well i decided to weigh in  earlier today., and i was up 4.6 pds   grrrrrrr   this was from may 11th. bad, good ,or indifferent it is what it is !!!!!! 
i am so thankful that i am getting this surgery cuz i really feel that i can just go up and up and up   soooooooo with that said  i now have to lose more than what i expected . but   its oki began right now  today i started my 3 day pre-op diet 
i want to record the correct figures what i weigh now, what i might weigh after the pre-op  and every week there after

 oyyyyyyyyy  i feel sooooo icky . i woke up at 5 am i couldnt sleep.  i came on OH for an hour  and i went back to bed. i woke up at 9  stomach rumbling from the lax night before ughhhh  cold sweats soreness  what ever happened to over night gentle relief?  anywayyyyyyyyy , i dont want to turn this into a crapola post.  pun intended  i cant believe i leave the day after tomorrow. 
 im so glad i packed a while ago  cuz time goes so fast and u really do need to prepare weeks in advance well if ur like me  a virgo miss perfectionist that has to make sure   nothing gets forgotten about .  wish me luck in these 3 days i know  there r members on here that had to do 2 weeks pre-op god bless you

 its me again lol  ive been a vegetarian for 2 years now for 2 reasons  1st  for the animals , and 2nd  for health reasons
i know protein is soooo important  and ive been getting my protein thru legumes and beans and protein drinks.  now wheter or not im getting the right amount i dont know . but  will this still be ok  after  my vsg?   all i hear on here is protein protein protein  so im thinking    am i gonna have enough nutrition ? 
any advise would very much be appreciated

heyyyyyyyy Everyone,
im telling ya  im a  stupida . on the home page  ive been sending a quick note to all the people with their pictures up saying good luck on their surgery date  im thinking thats all there was so now, so i look even furthur and i find a page that has  many many more for the month of may  lolol im like  i cant write to  every single person every day having surgery lololl i was thinking its been only 6 surgeries  at a time    stunod i am     and in case  anyone doesnt know what stunod is it means stupid in italian  and   stunod spell backwards is donuts lol

ok everyone  ,
 this is what i was just thinking about .  we always say  i lost x amount of weight  but  in all reality when you lose something dont you want to find it?   so  if we lose x amount of weight do we really wanna find it again?  noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo    so  do you think in our heads  we find our weight right back on us just because we use the word "lose/lost" ? 
soooooooo   when i begin to" quote un quote"  LOSE weight  im going to say  i shed  x amount  of weight neevr ever to find that weight again

okkkkkk everyone, 
 i dont rem where i saw  it  but  i read someones ticker  and  i thought it was sooooooo cool  i am in the obese  frame ughhhhh,  so 174 will make me over weight  yayyyyyyy lolol . my original goal weight was 150, but that still makes me overweight lolol  .so i decided to add 5 more pds  making my goal weight 145 that will be in the normal range   amennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

heyyyyyyy Everyone,
 im getting sooooooo excited .  9 days away from the surgery date. i think the most concern that i have is my mind set  and the changes that  must  occur for  me to make this successful . for those Virgos out there , im a perfectionist and try to do  everything by the book  and this wls is no exception . im still trying to prepare my family at home  for the changes that they will see.  ive been reading like crazy  and learning as much as i can . i started to pack already lol.  im sooooooo  ready  for this .   im tired  of waiting on line  and  hiding behind my hand bag .  i started to stress a lil when a friend mentioned about  traveling home and blood clots  grrrrrrrrrr. so i read up on that  and i now know what to do . 
i also wanted to mention to becareful of  someone befriending you  on this website .  they will ask u for ur  email addy . its a bout refugees  asking for you to be their trustees   they are scammers . i have much compassion for people  and i recently got scammed for my own home  . so please becareful
