"My first impression of Dr. Garth Davis was that he was young but seemed competent. My internist wanted me to go to him because of my high risks & Dr. Davis has not lost any patients yet. He is a very skilled surgeon & works very hard to make sure everything goes well. I had to undergo many tests & see many doctors before I could get surgery scheduled so he is thorough. His office staff is also very competent but very busy so sometimes it took a while for them to get back to me, which was frustrating. The surgeon is very busy too & did seem to be in a hurry quite often. Dr. Davis does emphasize aftercare & has a structured aftercare program with the Methodist Hospital right across the street. However, since I live 400 miles from Houston, I can not participate in the aftercare program fully. I would rate Dr. Garth Davis highly. There were complications after surgery but he did everything possible to make sure it turned out well. "
