Hi, Deborah! I just wanted to wish you all the best. I am seven weeks post-op and married to the WLS "Poster Boy" who had his surgery 6/12/01 and eats anything he wants (small portions). I'm still taking it slow, but I have so much more energy already! I've lost 42 pounds since 9/28. But it's the energy that makes the difference! You'll see what I mean soon!! Major surgery takes time to recover so be gentle with yourself. God bless you indeed! CJ
Well, 24 hours to go. Still no angel, but a wonderful loving family and lots of supportive friends. I am a little anxious, and keep having crazy dreams! Last night I dreamt I woke from surgery and had no pain! Let's hope that one comes through. Anyway I just wanted to thank everyone for their supportive posts on my surgery page, and thoughtful emails. You guys are wonderful! Thanks for everything! I'll see you on the "other side!"
Deborah-I just read your entire page, Whew. I'm tired! It was very entertaining :0). I want to wish you well as you go through your surgery and recovery. I will be thinking and praying for you on Monday. If you feel like it you can do the same for me on Wednesday.
Best wishes to you for a complication free procedure, a speedy recovery, successful weight loss, and life long good health and happiness. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Toni Treadway, Douglasville, Georgia, post op, lap rny 9/4/01.
Deborah;
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery!! I will be praying that all goes well with you and that you make a speedy recovery. I am from Saginaw, and had surgery 9-05-01, and have lost 67 pounds! I know this surgery works, and soon you will know it too!!! (((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))
Deborah,
I just saw your post about your new surgery date. Congratulations! You'll have to get new clothes for Christmas! Take care, and take the time to be good to yourself. Best wishes...
Claire (2 months post-op & down 50+ pounds!)
