Good luck to you and your surgeon Deborah. Don't worry about pain. I am 2 weeks post-op and I have never experienced pain. I do have discomfort but its tolerable without medication. Be sure to take chap stick and if possible a body pillow with you to the hospital. Believe me on the body pillow part. I wish I had taken one with me. Hospital beds are so uncomfortable. If you become depressed a couple of days after surgery don't let it get to you - you will shake it overnight. When they tell you to get out of bed and walk - do it! Walking will really make you feel better(tired but better)... Denise
